lol how come u guys to much homework lolz

I did 6 years of VWO (highest form of education in the netherlands 12-18 year olds. So thats around the same as highschool me guesses) and i didnt had more then 30 min homework a day. And i got grade good enuff to get into medical school.

Anyways now i am in medical school i got tons to. But its better if u dont go full out for 4-5 hours straight. Its better to do it in 50 min studying 10 min relaxing (listen to music, or whatever u do). This way ur brain gets time to store the information what u just read, made etc. And if u gona go at it a whole day like ur saterday or sunday its best to take a long break after every 4 hours or so. Again to give ur brain a rest and all. Hope i help u with ur problem.

And its logical first homework, projects etc. then free time (will that anyway u like)

I'm going to assume that you are a member and your account is set to auto-pay. If you are, what I did was cancelled my membership and played the remainging days. Then, when it was finished, I logged out in a f2p area.

This was only because I enjoy logging online to chat with friends or to attend events, but if you really want to quit, cancel members, and the very last day, put your character in a members area so that there is no way you can log back on without re-subscribing.

::'

2 things. One,my account is not set to autopay, my parents would never pay the 5 dollars a month, so i just sent in 20 dollars cash without their knowledge to paybycash for 3 months, its very easy. I'm thinking of getting a few goals for when i become f2p, such as 94 magic and high ranged. Magic will be difficult, but not impossible, but i wont have the restriction of time to do it. Second thing is that when you become f2p from p2p and your account is in a members area you just get teleported automatically to lumby.

School starts tomorrow for me! yay...?

Yea im heading into the last year of grammar skol, from ireland, think it works dif in the US, but im coming 18 next month if that helps u get an idea... Anyway the point is last year i didnt try any where near hard enough at school, went out alot wit my mates, am working 2 part time jobs, playing hurling and runescape! I was pretty much alot better at physics than every1 else bar 1 girl, but when my results came in there a few weeks ago they were terrible! Dont no wot im gonna do this year, but for a start im asking for a reduction in shifts from both jobs, prob should quit one, but like the 2 at holiday times. Most my mates are going to uni, so ill not really c them that much, and the hurling session will b over in a few months unless we get tho in championship which cud make it last a bit longer. And the other main dif is that im dropping technology which eliminates a huge amount of coursework! So really this year it should b easier but gonna cut down the amount of runescape played, wot ill b doing and wot i suggest u do is dont quit but simply play when u've finished ur homework. Its been said alot but thats prety much all u gotta remember! Also dont play at all coming up to exams u can never study too much!!!

Heh; I face a similar problem that you do, and I feel it to be a common problem. I have an Idea for a solution, and maybe it'll work for you. First though, I must explain where I am in this.

7th grade I found out about the big RS, and I started playing...a lot. i got the membs and from the time I got home till the time I slept was full-on RS. My grades suffered only at the end (I started playing early third quarter) but nonetheless I was doing less pre algebra and more pre-heroes quest. 8th grade came the most of my playing; and with it horrid detriment to my grades; three quarters off of honor roll (which is BS for me) and rarely doing homework. I stopped playing on and off near the end, but I was still lazy when it came to studies. When 8th grade was over I played like a maniac in june and part of july; then stopped until now. School is starting and I have a few new focuses on life; a band, a great place to use up restlessness and not waste effort on pixels. Hit me now; but let's face it: more people listen to music than play RS. Also it being a new year Starting fresh and building study habits is easier. My idea for you is this:

A: Find a new outlet; whether it music, sports, or anything off of the internet/tv

B: Focus from day 1. Since you've already started you shouldn't be too deep in work and can build up teh habits.

C: Play runescape when EVERYTHING is done. Not only will you get everything complete; it will make it all more rewarding; no? I'd rather enjoy some 'scaping after succesfully conquering the monster of geometry than have it breathing down my back.

D: realize; you don't have to kick out RS. As long as you take charge and 'don't be a weenie' it shouldn't be too hard to manage time.

Take it from me; a genuine slacker! I've seen Runescape ruin lives; but they only ruin lives when you let it. everything good is bad in large amounts my friend; and moderation might be difficult at first; but everything will come to you with time. Good luck; and have a happy Real Life!

PS: if anyone wishes to flame me because I'm 'knocking rs' and blaming it for people's problems, maybe you should think about it; I still play; still love; and still praise Runescape. It's when you replace real living with it that it becomes a problem, but who's fault is that now?

i totally know what you mean. i really would like to say, "Go totally school ditch RS" but i know that if hard to do. my suggestion, dont think about rs so much, it will make you want to play more; and lastly, make active outside RS goals for yourself, and try to get involved. playing once a week or so is ok, but no more than that

Holy crap people, some of you guys have it easy in high school (jessy, Jesus Christ  ).

Well, here's what one night of homework, on the second day of school, looks like for a Junior with 4 AP's at a College Prep HS:

AP American History:

Print off a syllabus.

Cover Textbook.

Get online and create a school account on "Moodle."

Open and print two readings, and fill out a page long answer sheet for both.

Morality and Justice:

Read Chapter 1, 20 pages long.

Quiz on the text.

English III:

Read and print off the syllabus.

Finish all exercises for Vocab section one.

Read 70 pages of "Brave New World", circle and rewrite all vocabulary words you don't know, and find their definitions.

Compare "Brave New World" to "Farenheit 451."

Fix in class quiz on "Brave New World."

AP Latin Vergil (Latin IV):

Translate lines 8-22 of the Aeneid (this is like Shakespeare for Latin).

AP Biology:

Cover Textbook

Do "Invitation 1" in Binder, a page long worksheet.

Read and go over "Sci Method 1&2", our first lab.

Read Chapter 1 of Textbook and answer 4 pages worth of exercises in Study book.

(AP) Precalculus BC:

Finish a worksheet and answer 40 text problems in the book.

Yes, that is one night of homework. Yes, life sucks.

remind me to never...ever...take a AP course...ever

Sort of on topic :

Never tell someone you're too busy to hang out because, secretly, you're busy playing runescape. really, just never do it, it's foolish.

As for school, I never had trouble really balancing school and runescape because not only do I not play much, but I realized early that the key of learning is 1% taking notes and 99% understanding the concepts of what the professor is talking about and how they relate to other concepts--and that taking notes is generally a waste of my attention.

I know there are kids out there who automatically whip out their notebooks and write every word out of the professors mouth because all the other kids did it, but I never realized how much attention to detail I could retain if I just sat and listened.

I'm not saying to go into a class and not take notes, but that you should find out what learning method works best for you by exploring things OTHER than sitting and scribbling notes. School will be a breeze if you have a sharp mind and it will free up a LOT of your time.

70 Defense

82 Attack

85 Magic =)
