September 8, 200619 yr i'm curious here, but what kind of server would a game like runescape have to run off? like how many cpu's, how much ram, how much hardrive space? I know, I'll load up Runescape as many times as possible and see how many times it takes for my computer to crash, then I'll tell you =P

Think about it if theres 1000 P2P in each world thats over $500,000 a month, However people play from different countries and continents so they would be on at different times, And when constructino came out all member worlds were full, so they added more (that proves over 2000 p2p players in each world) they would make 1 million dollars per month from members. But think about this, they had to add more worlds twice while construction was out due to all members worlds full, so they make easily over 1 million dollars a month. LOL just think if i would have added the advertisements...... Energy prices are emense these days. electricity, gas. 150 servers around the world which have to be bought, cost to maintain and or rent premises for them. Telephone bills and comunication costs add up. The Uk governemt takes alot of profit as tax and also emoplyers have to pay more NI contributions that employee's If id were to estimate a figure for actual profit, you are looking at about 5-6mil a year after tax and expenses. If miniclip own 21% then thats profits down 1mil. So personally they would have about 2 mil ea in thier bank accounts thats only if they dont reinvest any money in the company. they are only multi millionaires if they sold Jagex, which they will in the future.
