September 9, 200619 yr I seriously think this is a bad Idea. Usually in memorials, were supposed to have a moment of peace. Now its very hard to keep a giant group of people to be quiet, they jut spamm spamm spamm and some of them dont even really give a hoot. They might even say stuff that crosses the line. I think its a bad idea to do it in runescape. Some of people in runescape dont have any hearts or souls. If possible, we can try and make a new location and try and not make it a public event.
September 9, 200619 yr I lost my uncle on September 11, 2001. In rememberance of him, and this tragedy, I will attend.

September 10, 200619 yr Great idea. I would be there but i can play rs on schooldays and i have football after school
September 11, 200619 yr I managed to get a small group of my friends to come. They were all greatly affected by September 11th so I don't think we'll have to worry about it. Most likely, if anyone starts spamming or anything, they'll probably be reported or yelled at so fast for being so disrespectful. 11/30/06 - Quit RuneScape
September 11, 200619 yr I will not be able to come but i really hope no one wrecks it and says something stupid.. But really it would not surprise me... You can't put it past the average RS players these days Respect- Oy_the_Great, Lode, Bubsa, Weezcake, Thrash111, Gloric, Vmser, Pianofrieak2, Runemetsa Sigs Made By - Pink
September 11, 200619 yr If someone starts being so stupid just had him to ignore and don't let him make you feel angry, thats what he want. Anyways, I think I'll be here. I don't like memorials so much but i'll come to this, also on remembrance of the 11M on Spain and the rest of attacks on all over the world... Currently having a break from sig-making...Join the campaign for more F2P bank space!Avatar by Born2die, tyvm!
September 11, 200619 yr I'll be there as soon as I get home from school. What a great way to connect with other people about such a tragic time.
September 11, 200619 yr I am going to try my hardest to be there. As being an older player, and a pilot, I was in the air that morning of September 11th. I remember the shock and horror of having an f-15 scream past me after being called back home with no explanation. Everyones lives were changed dramaticaly that day, for some people it was thier first experience with death, for others it was just another day. I dont know if any one else believes in God or a higher being, but you know the whole world feels it when 3,000 people loose thier lives in the blink of an eye.
September 11, 200619 yr I'd love to be there. But I'll be here in rl: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=537699
September 11, 200619 yr Author Just as give people an update, from the time of this post, it is 3 hours until the Remembrance. I can hope that all goes without disruption or difficulties. ~ZidaneCT ~ Proud Original Founder of the Tip.it Events Team (TET) ~ ~ Leader of the Runescape Party Host Committee (RPHC) ~ "There's no such thing as a never-ending story," You murmured as you looked away...
September 11, 200619 yr personally I wont be there becase I like to forget what happened and dont like to bring it up, keeps me from feeling sad and crying. RIP. ~xplod33
September 11, 200619 yr My personal feelings are that those who lost their lives in such tragic events are best laid to rest, rather than resurrecting their memories each year, and for that reason I regret to say that I will not be attending. I am also aggravated that people only think to remember those who lost their lives in one such incident. When was the last time you heard of a memorial being held for the 7/7 attacks on London, although a fewer number of fatalities were sustained, that doesn't make their loss of life any less important. I'll stop now because I don't want to cause an argument with anyone, and I hope the remembrance service goes well. ~Ian I agree, even thought we didn't get hit badly it was still the largest shock we'd had in years. I cant attend since im to tired....and i gotta get up at half 6 in the morn...:(
September 11, 200619 yr Author 1 hour til the Remembrance from the time of this post. See you there. ~ZidaneCT ~ Proud Original Founder of the Tip.it Events Team (TET) ~ ~ Leader of the Runescape Party Host Committee (RPHC) ~ "There's no such thing as a never-ending story," You murmured as you looked away...
September 11, 200619 yr Author I want to thank everyone who attended, for their words, wisdom, stories of their experiences, and remembrances. It was a lovely service. I was glad to remember the victims of that day, that many will surely not forgot. We had server troubles end the remembrance, so I'll close off with saying, "Lest we forget.." ~ZidaneCT ~ Proud Original Founder of the Tip.it Events Team (TET) ~ ~ Leader of the Runescape Party Host Committee (RPHC) ~ "There's no such thing as a never-ending story," You murmured as you looked away...
