About what the pink/magenta party hats were called back then, I remember them as being most commonly addressed as "pink". They were the most expensive at around 13-15m by the end of rsc.

Party hats in classic might seem cheap now, but they were just as costly as they are now (no bank notes, rcing, etc). Yellows were around 3, red were 3-4, I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t remember what blues were (5 or so maybe), greens were a little cheaper than blues, pink was much higher than the rest.

This isn't actually a proof, everyone could use a painting program (such as ms paint) and use it to paint the hat. We need better proof than this.

Best answers here will be rumor so I'd suggest you send a query to Jagex for an official answer. Even the official KBdoesn't mention anything about a black party hat.
