I made it today as a replacement for my current sig, it wasn't supposed to have bloody murder written on it, i wrote that on becuase it got messed up when i was makin it and was too bloody for my normal sig.

 

tell me what ya think. You can use it but if it is in anything that you redid part of the image that had my name in it then you have to give me "neofefnir" credit.

The quality is very bad, deffinitly resave it as something that can hold more quality... (which is odd, because it seems close to photoshop filter pile, and photoshop generaly has good quality .jpg's :? ).

 

 

 

Anyways.. other than that:

 

 

 

 

 

- Can hardly read the text.

 

 

 

- Don't center the text, it rarly looks good there, and completly takes the focus away from anything else in the image.

 

 

 

- It is incredibly saturated and contrasted, tone it down.

 

 

 

- It's a fairly boring image right now, mostly looks a lot like a filter pile.

 

 

 

- Too much red I think, and the white just looks odd in the mix with it all.

I didn't copy it from runeweb for the second two, I got in from runescapes highscores. i made it white so it was visible enough on the red cause black lettering on a red/red/black backround won't work nicely

Saving it as jpeg is no reason for quality loss if you have a program for GIMP. As for you calling them annoying, that's not helping you. Your going to need to get used to c/c. Even experienced people like Nadril, Weeb, Flamer, and I get criticized. If your going to succeed in GFX, your going to need to learn to accept criticism because you will NEVER create anything perfect. No matter how good you are, you will make mistakes just like everyone else. Those mistakes will be pointed out for you to fix next time.

Yes ma'am.

I made this before i made my current signature. Anyways it was made on gimp and i didn't use a render or anything that would take more then like 10 minutes. I spent 20 minutes on that sig at the most. All i did was make a gradient from red to black or something make a new layer add text "bloody murder" and then another layer and use paintbrushes all over it. there is a target paintbrush on part of bloody murder. the text isn't blurry because of bad quality it is because it is covered up with a lot of paintbrushes. Anyways

 

that one owns it would be like the best one i've ever made x2 lol. It is tight i think. Anyways they probably spent hours or at least a bit more time then 20 minutes on that one. Thanks for the comments I may have been expecting better that is why i didn't take your constructive criticism better. You were trying to help. Anyways I will keep that in mind when i make more sigs. btw for one last thing i am not an expert on gimp so i am not to surprised when you said my sigs sucked. just i wasn't expecting you to come right out and say it, lol.

mate, most people who are serious about sigs spend 20 mins AT LEAST. i can take hours on a sig if i really want it to look perfect, or as close as. i also spend time playing about with stocks etc to see what else i can do.

i know that, but it didn't work out after the first 15 minutes so i changed it to look different in the other time. i'm just saying much time wasn't spent on the sig with bloody murder on it
