How do you know when the prices change? Does some guy just decides he wants Santas to cost more and start selling them for more and eveyrbody else does it too? I don't know much about merchanting.

Prices flunctuate do to supply and demand, since it is the christmas season, many will want to get in spirit and buy things in representation of such, so demand goes up while the supply does nothing (or, in some cases, could drop to causes of unexplained circumstances) and that means the prices go up.

Exactly what sellers thought. Back in Classic when that actually happened, no one barely thought about it except merchants. Now that it's a commonly known fact, it's rarely true. I can't recall for masks, but Santas went down last Christmas. They might this year, but I'm hogging 3 of them, so it'll totally make a difference.

it went down last christ mas because everyone was like wewt ima go sell my santa hat at christmas ill be rich but the thing was nearly everyone thought that whuch meant sooo many people seeling them and not to many buying them so people begin to lower the price and others see it being lowered and follow the trend to try and sell theres.

why will they go up??? :-k these loads of supplyier but no demand, just coz its christmas doesnt mean the price will go up :shame: if anything it will go down due to the increase in people selling and the lack of demand for the santa hat.

but thats just my personal opinion :?

and it happend last year too didnt it if i recall -.-

Its simple supply and demand, if lots of merchanters are expecting santas to go up at christmas they will all try to sell at christmas and the prices will fall.

Well, it's not so "simple".. but whatever goes for you. Thinking about it, i expect not much of a change this year, supply and demand seem like they might equalize each other out :-k
