Riku3220
ummm what? are you asking if santa hats will go down during christmas?
Positief
Probably the oposite: the prices will increase drastically right before and during christmas. If you want to sell yours, sell it then. And if you want to buy one, buy it after the christmas period, they will go down quite deeply for a few days. (And then they will rise again) My Signature

Chupa
How do you know when the prices change? Does some guy just decides he wants Santas to cost more and start selling them for more and eveyrbody else does it too? I don't know much about merchanting.

Exactly what sellers thought. Back in Classic when that actually happened, no one barely thought about it except merchants. Now that it's a commonly known fact, it's rarely true. I can't recall for masks, but Santas went down last Christmas. They might this year, but I'm hogging 3 of them, so it'll totally make a difference.
Dragon_Scyth
it went down last christ mas because everyone was like wewt ima go sell my santa hat at christmas ill be rich but the thing was nearly everyone thought that whuch meant sooo many people seeling them and not to many buying them so people begin to lower the price and others see it being lowered and follow the trend to try and sell theres. Umega
Last christmas they were around 6mil, after christmas they went down to 4.5mil, that's when I bought mine. :D No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
Brainiac
why will they go up??? :-k these loads of supplyier but no demand, just coz its christmas doesnt mean the price will go up :shame: if anything it will go down due to the increase in people selling and the lack of demand for the santa hat. but thats just my personal opinion :? and it happend last year too didnt it if i recall -.-
redserpent4
yes last year it went down a bit. But the year before that it almost doubled in price at christmas time. so i dont know, ill be hanging on to mine no matter what

chris28
Its simple supply and demand, if lots of merchanters are expecting santas to go up at christmas they will all try to sell at christmas and the prices will fall.

Well, it's not so "simple".. but whatever goes for you. Thinking about it, i expect not much of a change this year, supply and demand seem like they might equalize each other out :-k
hungryblader
ill never be able to afford a santa hat. I LOVE WEARING THEM IRL. At least, around christmas time "Dost hath not giveth thy name 'noob' to thy brethren... ...Or thou art must considereth thyself a noob as well."
