To me I powermine iron for money/banking in goblin cave from Lost Tribe quest and bank at Lumby chest from RFD quest. Both are easy to do and you only have to do first part of RFD to gain access to chest.

 

 

 

In the cave you have the option of just dropping iron, selling to goblin guy for minimal price or banking at the chest.

Best 2 powermining spots for mining and dropping are al-kharid mine and ardy iron/coal mines, each has a spot with 3 iron rocks right next to each other.

You could also powermine granite.

East Varrock mine has good power mining too but I'd prefer Al karid

iron is fastest way, i normaly use mine near varrok

i use dwarven mines for coal and once you get level 60 mining you can get into guild which has a million coal rocks)
