Positief
I know the lumby range has a smaller burn chance, but overall: Do ranges have a smaller chance of burning food than regular fires? And does wearing a chefs hat help? My Signature
munchkinmage
Yes and no. Fires burn more then ranges, and normal ranges burn more then the lumby range, but chef's hat does nothing. :)

Yes - there is a less of a chance of burning on a range - however the cook-rate is slower and you can just build fires right outside a bank ~ usually best for when you don't burn but just want cooked. icecube
the lumby range burns less??? since when?? and is this in the chefs room in the castle or the one near bob??? Ya, they've always burned less. It's not really noticable with foods that count (lobsters, sharks, swordies, etc.)
Drgn01
the lumby range burns less??? since when?? and is this in the chefs room in the castle or the one near bob??? The chef mentions during the quest (for those of you who can remember Lol was practically everyone's first quest) he says that he'll let you use his range, which has a higher percentage of success when cooking. Unless you're a member and have access to the bank chest in the cave room when you climb the stairs in that room (must have completed at least one part of RFD I believe), then it's definitly not worth using. Especially if you're cooking in bulk. [101 Combat][1450+ Total][89 Strength][84 HP][80 Mage][Currently]Your mother would be proud.
