wakka102
I've been doing pyramid plunder to get to 80 theiving (with the ultimate goal of reaching 80 in all my skills which isnt too far off). I've been able to do a trip with only 1 normal anti dose and absolutely no food. I'm not sure if its well known but I've never seen anybody else do this but me. I put on full guthans and take between 10-15 regular antipiosons (preferedly 4 dose). Also equip any cb booster stuff like a fire cape, climbing boots, dark gloves, whatever you have. Go into the game with full health and run to the last room that you can get too, open up all of the jars first then open up the center place. If a scarab appear kill it. After this one, drink and anti dose and then open the tomb. If a mummy appears kill it as well. This may or may not heal you back to full health (it has for a me a couple of times). After you leave the place, head directly east to the corner of the town. There are several locusts in this corner. Kill them and us your guthans to heal you to full health. If you do not have guthans, you can still use the locust meat that they drop to heal yourself, they heal 3 hp each. This is the cheapest and best way that I've found to do it. you dont have to bank for very long periods of time (when you run out of antipoison). Ooooooh that's what locust meat is. They never drop that for me. :-k No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
Ts_Stormrage
How about you just switch prayer on the second you hear the scarabs pop out of the golden chest? you can recharge prayer a short walk away in Nardah... and that temple lso heals your hitpoints... no point in wasting barrows for this... infact... frogmite
i'd rather just use the staff/glory to bank all the tablets tbh nice idea though ;p

sessie
If you use piramide plunder as a way to make large amounts of cash then you should reconsider the reason why you play runescape. The more highest level urns opened per hour the better, there are about 100 better ways to make cash.
deangut
LoL.. I don't think Wakka was saying to use plunder for cash.. but for the XP. Reading FTW!! Freshwacka
The time spent to get all those locusts meats (it adds up) can be spent glorying to al kharid and getting more food. 99 Crafting Blog

Can you tele to al kharid and get back in less then 30 seconds? I doubt it... This method is meant to give you the best xp out of this mini game, not the best money. LoL.. I don't think Wakka was saying to use plunder for cash.. but for the XP. Reading FTW!! Good advice to someone that hates this skill Wakka... Your whip drop total is sick!!thanks for that, I dont think I'll be getting anymore whips by the way, unless they go back up. I have better ways of making money now since they are so low. The more highest level urns opened per hour the better, there are about 100 better ways to make cash. Sure it isn't the best, but it's actually pretty good if you have a considerable amount of luck. I got three sceptres in less than 300k xp or so. Sold them for about 700k each. As for the Guthans idea.. I wouldn't recommend it, personally. Wearing unnecessary armour just makes you run out of energy a lot faster, which pretty much defeats the whole purpose since Pyramid Plunder is based on speed. It's better to just bank and tele back to the pyramid. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
scapegote1
Nah, you really don't run outta energy that quickly playing pp even wearing guthans. The way I do it is different though, I go through each room checking the center chest. Until I get to the room one before my highest, then I check for snakes but don't loot each of the urns. In the highest room I check snakes and then loot, loot the chest and the sarchophagus and leave, heal with guthans on locusts. I'm only 71 theiving right now (just unlocked the 71 room) but my first three runs with it where approx 8500 xp. Pretty good for 5 minutes, and I can stay until my anti's run out, a long time.
