So I was in falador world 2 trying to sell off some of my miscellania loot. I'm minding my own business when suddenly... "giving away white phats--------wakka102---------5 left!!!!". Someone was standing under me and said this. Emmidiatly half the people in fally start spam trading me. It takes me 30 minutes of running to get everyone off my back. Could I reported the guy who did this and what would I have reported it as? It was incredibly annoying and made alot of people mad when they reolized I wasnt giving them out. Many accused me of lieing and I'll bet i didnt get out of that without being reported several times :roll:

Dang that stinks. Sorry it happened to you. :( But anyway, Jagex will know who said what, so if you got reported I wouldn't worry about it.

Happened to me too when I was selling my mask. Someone spammed my name saying I was giving out some random item and I had to log to escape it. Oh well, if they can track down when it happened they'll know you did not say it.

well the messages go by so fast its hard to tell who said what by looking i nthe chat log. So if someonesee's a message like that and are looking over the person head they will assume they said it.

i dunno what it could be reported as but i know jagex wouldnt appreciate it, and yeah sounds like a really annoying thing people could do.

Must be another 10 year old playing pranks... If you did get reported then you've got nothing to worry about :) . I quickly scimmed and scanned the rules from the KB and the closest thing that I found to what happened was "Misleading other players for your own personal gain". For one thing, if JaGeX chat is good or you're lucky then it will catch the person who said it. If not, then it is not against the rules as it is not for any personal gain.

they seriously need to add a rule against spamming or something..I could have reported them all for spam trading me :twisted:

it scared the mess out of me. Im a big security freak when it comes to my account so i was afraid if alot of people reported me jagex would take note reguardless of if i did anything or not :ohnoes: . they seem to give out alot of false bans/black marks.
