I've done numerous quests just to complete a storyline, I've got to admit I do some for rewards, but only large experience rewards. I think the idea of the storyline being for 10 year olds is dum. My brother's 10 and doesn't like them I'm 12 nearly 13 and I Luv them :3> Oh and BTW that's not a cookie it a smilie. Lol

I've noticed jagex is reallys starting to make quests with sequals and part 2s. I really payed attention and got interested with mourner series...i did sea slug about a year ago, and wondered...this quest has been out for about 4 years...whens the sequal coming? satisfying...lol

Anyway, about the gods and such...i don't know very much about it, i mean they are very important and needed cause everything really revolves around them (armors, quests, books, dialouge, characters places). But what really grinds my gears is that when in cw noobs yell out "ZAMMORAC LET US USE YOUR DRK POWERS AND BEAT SARA!!" and all that stuff. hey..i see a post idea :-k lol.

This is the true storyline of runescape: A jobless geek goes on computer, finds runescape, registers, plays until he gets bored by then he'll have coughed up 100 quid then a drop party to get other players addicted...

Correct no?

The whole reason I do a quest is for the storyline. The reward is a nice touch. I'd much rather listen to a "dumb 10 year old's fairytale" then listen to "Only 650,043 exp to go.....". I've done almost all the quests, save for a few newer ones.

I also like to roleplay my character. Does that make me 10? 7? Yeah, I actually go around saying I like Guthix. It's a ROLEPLAYING game... why do people get mocked as immature if they don't hoard numbers?

Amen to that! personally, i love the storylines in RuneScape, except all the god stuff. The myreque story has brilliant twists in the plot, and the Elf (Plague City-MEP2, dunno the official anme) Series makes me want MEP3, even though i can't finish MEP1 due to 47 range. I'm 15, i flaunt my Zammyness in-game, and love the story behind the quest, not the reward. the reward is a bonus

They are fulfilled beyond your knowing. The Cryst is sundered, age of

Stones complete. From the undying ones the world is freed. You shall not tread

this path alone. Together we go. Come.

I could care less about the story behind Runescape- it's just pointless gibberish to appeal to the minds of 10 year olds.

It don't approve of that comment, I'm 13, and I'm very mature, and I like it.

But then again I am an otaku... :XD:

Yeah I agree about the still ejoying it at 13 thing. No idea what an otaku is though.

I'd give you the wikipedia link but I'm not allowed.

Basically it's someone who loves anime and manga in America, but it can have many meaning in Japan. And I didn't say that to prove I like childish things, most animes (e.g. Bleach) have way to mature themes for 10 year olds.

I'm back?! No wayz!!!

Try doing some higher level quests and maybe you'll see the intricate storylines. I love the plague city storyline. (FYI, I'm 19, not 10. )

For the love of God, before I get quoted YET AGAIN, let me clarify YET AGAIN.

In my opinion the storylines within the quests are often intricate and very interesting, especially the extended quest lines. I'm referring to the fantasy stories behind Runescape in that quote, not the quest storylines. The stories of the Gods and creation of Runescape and whatnot, that all is pretty much just for the kiddies.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
