I made a sketch based on a screenshot I saw about Starcraft Ghost.

I made that sketch like 2 years ago I think.

Until recently, I thought I lost that sketch, but I found out that I had scanned it into my computer sometime in the past.

Im experimenting with inking atm, so I figured this would be a good lesson for me.

I think I got most of the lines right. Its a bit wobbly at places, but im genereally happy with the inking considering I only have a mouse. (It was pretty annoying, and this particular piece made me consider buying a graphic tablet...)

Obviously, I still need to shade and stuff, but I found it too annoying to continue...

Im probably just too lazy to continue. :wall:

Anyway... here it is.

Kinda sucks that Blizzard put a hold on this project... It looked soo promising. :(

EDIT: I used Macromedia Flash to ink it btw. O:)

Looks good, I do agree that a tablet would help tons. really my only crit is that it is a bit wobly in places :) .

Hehehe, made me think of Bridget Jones's Diary. Her "wobbly bits"

I tried to use the line too as much as I can, but I dont think theres a curve line tool in flash so I had to resort to drawing curves by mouse...

hmm.. If you could do this with the pen tool in photoshop it'd look pretty damn nice I think. A fake vector basicly. :D

Great job on the female figure :) And like nadril said, photoshop has an ink pen tool that will most definitely help your "wobbliness" problems but having a tablet pen is much much better. XD

The only crit would be the sniper's left leg. It looks alittle stretched at the knee. :-k

Away :( -cheers all!

The firebat looks really wierd and misproportioned. BTW I remember that sketch, I believe it was in the "post a sketch" thread?

Anyways it's too bad they put Ghost on hold (again) <.<

I have the other sketch about Rikku from FF-X2.

If I get better at this, I might finish that one as well.

The firebat, yeah, I couldn't get a good reference pic so I just "guessed". #-o

Couldnt you make ze line and use the hand tool to curve it manualy?

Not perfect but it works

I tried it just now and I see your point.

Ive never really used that tool much before, but I can see where I can use this now.

Thanks for the advice! ::'

Thanks To: Everyone for the siggies, especially Kal for the Pixel.

Currently Playing: FIFA 07, NFS: Carbon, Morrowind and Dungeon Siege II.

got great potential IMO. someone whos good at working with realistic shading /LPS in paint (for eg) could make this amazing.
