Which alter or which method gives the fastest exp returns?

 

At the moment im using fire, as i belive it to be that little bit more effective then the air alter...

Moving to Help & Advice.

Body Crafting is the best method to gain Runecrafting levels without Runners (or even wtih runnner.. but on one wants Body Runes..).

 

 

 

Get ess from Edgville Bank, walk West, click outside the area and it'll walk you close to the Body Altar.

Maybe try water crafting now... since they opened up a new bank in Lumby and an entrance/exit in the graveyard.

i found runners very effective especially at world 16 but body is the best if u absolutely dont want runners...

Yes, the path is west from the Edgeville bank, southwest to the edge of the

 

barbarian village, and then squeeze through a gap in the fence to reach the Body altar.

If you craft the runes you need, then levels just come to you.

 

 

 

Body is the highest F2P xp, and the walk from edgeville was shortened.

 

 

 

Minds are a hell of a walk, but I did 1700 ess there from level 42 to 44 (at 4x), then stocked up on airs at 5x, then had one hell of a firestrike rampage in the stronghold.

i tested it our just to see how it went, but walk is too long, and bank in castle harder to get too, but an innovative thought none the less.

lol you guys are al wroung lol first off ppl do want runes ok and secound the lumby bank wtaer crafting thing is half wroung. first you do quest lol then you go to the wiz tower mine essenc and run to (fire alter real close) make fire runes you will have (28-55)(this could be wrong)then run back to wiz tower and mine more esscne then make more fires keep doing this you dont even got to go tobank to do this just went you dont to put stuff inbank

Acually, you are completly wrong.

 

 

 

You can use that method for WATER runes but I do not suggest it. It is very slow.

 

If you make fire runes then you mine the ess in varrock/buy it from other people then run back and forth from Al-Kharid bank. That is rididulous to run from wizard tower to fire altar and back.
