Raven6666
Duradel has set me quite a few of these smelly ghosts, but I am unsure of the most efficient way to slay them. Can anyone shed some light on this?
meb
Wear your best prayer-boosting gear and mage pray while meleeing them, you will get your ranarr back (most of the time) and you own't be using 3 monkfish for every specter. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. rft
Personally, I take an inv of monks, and runes for bones to peaches. After my food has run out, I use the chain to head downstairs and kill a few crawling hands for the bones. Rinse and repeat. This is cheaper than the pray pots idea, but the above poster is right that you will almost ceratinly get those ranaars back again if you go for the pray pot idea. Proselyte + zammy prayer book + a decent amulet should give you a 20+ prayer bonus. Holy wrench will make those prayer pots go further too. Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs

Mordendravid
Or you could just Burthorpe them like I do. 8-) Why would you do that? They're good herb and seed droppers, easy to get to, decent xp and using any of the methods above, easy to kill...

transcript80
monks robe top+bottom, NOSEPEG!!!, prayer book, either ammy: glory or fury/charged (un)holy symbol, dark gloves. Rune boots since they give +2 str now. Holy wrench is optional, you need the "rum deal" quest I think. mage pray (I use 2*4dose for inv of usefull drops) and melee: I take dds + whip. good luck Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... m4tty
never even consider burthorping them, just wear proselyte, nose peg, rune defender + whip, salve amulet (do the haunted mine quest), and in ur inv take 6-8 pray pots, and when they run out you should have more rannars off drops than the pray pots you used, and some herb seeds/ black mystic bottoms/ rune helms / lava battles.
