i think that this update will be just like the other updates; start out as the new thing, vanish, and then reappear. im getting my 99s for myself, not any random object jagex wants me to have; and when i see a high lvl player, i notice more admiration than anything; noobs don't really know what nolifers are

You get it from the new magic wardrobe that you'll be able to build in you POH. It says so in the BTS. I think. I might be misreading it though.

We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.

Pretty sure it didnt say that, the wardrobes will be for holding random event costumes (zombie outfit, mime outfit, etc.).

Most of the questions you asked are rpetty obvious.

You probably get them from somewhere, like those weird new stalls we saw in the KB, or that old man in fally castle that gives you maps, charts, and portraits for your POH.

Most likely be p2p since almost all other updates are p2p

If you die, most obviously you do with no fee.

The only real question is, what happens to your quest cape when a new quest comes out? I do have 2 possible solutions for that tho.

1. If as many as 2 quests come out and you dont do them, then theyll dissapear

2. When you get the cape, it will never dissapear no matter how many new quests come out. But, if you loose it through death, or drop it, you have to have all quests finished again to get another one.

Read the paragraph right after the paragraph you posted.

Also in October, Player-Owned Houses will get their first update since launch, with the all new costume room! Build magic wardrobes and treasure chests, and free up some space in the bank! Players will be able to store all their favourite random event costumes, special treasure trail outfits and even some of the odd little toys they've picked up on your travels over the years. More information will follow later this month.

As well as all of your funky costumes, the POH addition will also be able to store one of our other releases this month... the awe inspiring ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅCapes of Achievement̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

if u have a lvl 99 skill you should wear the cape w/ pride. anyone who says no lifer should realise what game their playing (nothing against runescape)

You should be proud if you got a lvl 99 or all quests done. This thread was started by flameguy... enough said. :P

In my opinion i dont think the new capes will last at first it will be cool but when say someone that doesnt have one comes along the first reaction will be "omg! How can you spend so long on a game??? n0 l1f3r!" And the classic and over used "Geek", will skill capes really be that popular? Quest capes will be because doing so many quests isnt that time consuming and is looked at by most of the rs community as way more fun than lvling up.

These capes will be a passing thing, giving rubbish bonuses or not much of an incentive to spend so much time on, id prefer to be doing barrows (its more challenging at my lvl) i feel somethings fun when something can go wrong, people will be called no lifer and geek because of the herblore cape they wear or the fletching cape they wear.

Discuss.

Maybe it's not exactly meant as something to spend all your time working towards, just as a little bonus for the people who have done it.
