Er, it's much easier than using any kind of tools to cut your nails (or especially scissors). I've done it since like age 7. Just make sure the waste is thrown in it's justified place, which is not your carpet. :wall:

On the other hand (no pun) I just don't understand people who bite their nails because they're anxious or stressed. But there are many kinds of people and habits.. :)

Dude, that's exactly like me. I started when I was young because I just thought it would be much simpler biting it off. And it hasn't failed me yet  I also don't get how people bite their nails from anxiety or nervousness. Just weird. Lol.

Fingernails yes, toenails NEVER. I only bite/cut my nails when they get too long.

I went over a year without cutting my toenails to see how long they would get. Then one day I stubbed my toe walking up my steps and my big one broke making it sharp, jagged and getting caught in my socks. Never doing that again :notalk:

I didn't even think that's physically possible. But maybe it is, I wouldn't bother trying... :-X

I'm pretty sure that it is. I speak from experience.

Oh the things I'll do . . . .

We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.

Never have Never will. To me, it's disgusting and hurts your teeth. No offense to people who do.

If you wash your hands several times a day it isn't really that disgusting and can strengthen your teeth.

..Not trying to justify it...

But theres still millions of bakteries under your nails eventho you washed them :shame:

There are millions of bacteria everywhere. We just arn't affected by most of them.

Yea but all that dirt in there.. yuck

But you already stated that there isn't dirt, but there is bacteria anyway. We're talking about washed hands on this one, remember?

Let me quote you:

But theres still millions of bakteries under your nails eventho you washed them :shame:

There's bacteria, but no dirt.

And to be on topic...

Yes, I do bite my nails. Sometimes toenails if I've just washed my feet

I bite my nails out of anxiety and nervousness. It gives your mind something to focus on, therefore, it makes you less nervous, therefore, it's soothing.

Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to bite my toe nails, nail clippers can barely clip them 8-) .

I chewed them for a little bit, but I don't like the way they feel after being chewed, the ends are rough and sharp, and the thought of what gets under my finger nails disgusts me.. So no, I don't.
