the quest guide says i can use the water from the bowl 10 times to fill vials but it emptied after only 5 vials.. is this normal or a mistake in the guide??

If it were normal, it would be a mistake in the guide! However, my bowl filled 10 vials without problem - not sure what happened to you...

i just did the first fight.. i dont think i killed the 187 as i wasn't hit by magic at end..do i have to do fight all over again?? did the fight time out? i was using darklight..is dscimmy better?

i have waited 3 hours for a response so i can continue the quest.. do i have to do the first fight again?? when i try to talk to Ungadulu he attacks and drains some strength..

i waited 8 hours for a response.. will just give up on legends.. since no one seems to know the answer :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Maybe you could actually make it clear what you're asking.. :

Well looking in the guide it says you have to kill the level 187 3 times. Quote in guide says

 

" When you feel you are ready for the the first of three fights with the level 187.

 

Not sure what you are stuck on here. Did you fight him 3 times yet ?

 

Go back in there and fight him again is what I would do. :)

what i am saying is that i think he left and did not die like doing the demon in the grand tree quest.. had to do him 5 times because he kept leaving before dying......

Maybe your fight lasted so long that the demon disappeared? If that happened, you should try talking to Ungadulu and kill the demon faster this time.

Use silverlight~ it does good damage against demons. Stay calm and

 

try not to get frustrated that quest is a hard quest take your time on it. :)

I used a d scimmy, silverlight is only as good as a rune longsword against demons. I think darklight is as good as a dragon longsword against them. So using silverlight is a bad idea, darklight is fine, id reccomend doing 4 dds specials first though.

Well according to the quest guide they recommend Silverlight, that is

 

what I used and never had a problem killing him. BTW: I was only

 

like level 78-80 cb at the time. I guess darklight is fine also I just prefer

 

to use silverlight.

 

 

 

Any hoot any weapon you use will be fine best of luck.

Vials? Dark light? Silver light? When i did that quest, I used dlong and protect from melee, and I did fine, the fights didn't even last 30 seconds each... I was level 78 if I recall correctly.
