Torag's Armour

Just curious, what are the different uses for Torag's armour? Not the set ability I mean, but is there any particular place people use the set w/o hams for its defense but still make money to cover its repair fee?

 

 

 

I was planning on using it for staking (I'm not a big staker though) and maybe some castle wars, but then wondered how much I would actually use it . I may sell it and go buy something else since it hasn't been used yet.

I doubt it's really useful for staking, verac is the way to go with that. [unless you turn off shield.. then I guess it would be good.] It's prety good for cw, and ok for fight pits. The only way I can see it really useful, as well as making money is killing TzHaar monsters, although guthans would be better for that.

I personally love casting slayer dart in it in barrows. Makes you feel nice and safe :

 

It's great for castle wars, switching to black hides when those mages come along.

 

It's decent for overall slayer tasks, such as kalphites, demons etc. Their occasional rune drops are enough to take care of repair costs with any luck.

 

It's good to keep in your inventory in PC if your in a sticky situation where monsters have gotton some very lucky shots in and gotton you to low health (that's very rare, and I wear zammy and priest robes at PC because it's my uniform)

 

 

 

Indeed it probably wouldn't be the best for meleeing in the duel arena. Although I have seen people stakeing with torags+karil bow and it seemed to actually work quite well. But it may have been a fluke, I don't know.

Great defense and cheap compared to other Barrows.

Alright. I'll keep it to use instead for general training and slayer \ .

 

 

 

But as for dueling, I thought one way to go was Torags, D-Shield and Whip for Attack/Defense stakers? Or does that not work well anymore, cause most stakers I see are armour off, or veracs.
