The endoplasmatic reticulum is an "organela" (portuguese) inside the cell, which is responsible for several cellular functions, such as transport, storage and production of proteins. There are two kinds of endoplasmatic reticulums: the "liso" (straight?) and the "rugoso" (curly? :P).
