I think the woodcutters quest is a lame idea! Having to have farming and firemaking lvls to enter? what about all the pures. I mean, do u need fishing lvls to get into the cooks guild?

I think that it might be a good, but not great idea. It would be super easy to get 99 wc then. They would probably put maples,willows,yews,and magic trees in it with you needing like 75 wc to get in.

So thats kinda supporting :D

definitely support everytime i go to any mage tree if i see 2 people there its a blessing, most worlds have 5-7 woodcutters, when i was f2p i thought autoers were bad but now im not sure which is worse

I support the WC guild. How about the only axe you can use is a granite axe (would require 50attack, 50 strength, and 51 wc) you also need lvl 60 firemaking. (the requirements for the guild would include 61 Wc, 60 Firemaking and completion of the woodcutter's quest. A lot of requirements, but should keep out autoers.

Walkthrough:

 

 

 

talk to wc tutor in lumby. He'll tell you of a place where there are trees that give you special logs and he needs them for a new type of armor. Take all the items for the quest. Trek to the Lumby-Draynor forest and chop down any tree. A level 105 tree spirit will appear. When you attack it it will teleport you to a room with just a portal to get out. Dig with your spade and you'll fall through a hole. You'll arive in an underground city. Talk to the mayor and ask how to get out. He'll tell you to use your axe with the wall. Don't use your axe with the wall yet, find the respawn of rope and use the rope with your axe. Use your axe-rope with the wall. It will show your character throw the axe to the top of the wall and climb up the rope. You arrive in the forests near the mind alter. Right click the axe and hit untie rope-axe.Now you look for a tree called 'large banyon tree' try to chop it down and the level 105 tree spirit will attack you, kill it even if you only survive with 1hp. Take 10 logs from the tree and return to the tutor. He'll make the banyon logs into banyon armor. To have him make banyon granite armor mine 10 iron and he'll switch the iron for granite and use the granite with the banyon armor. Note that the banyon tree goes away after completion of the quest.

Ps the tree spirit drains about 1 prayer every 10 seconds. If you try to run it will follow you until you log out. You can use protection prayers. Its attacks are based on what your wearing (if you're wearing leather it will melee you, if you're wearing robes it will range you, and if you're wearing melee armor it will mage you.) Use protection prayers!!!!!

not a good idea maby i hate skillers (see no point in doing that) but skillers wont like it and there is no granite armer in f2p its more like a chalenge and what will it use if you have a green dhide body rune legs and mage hat?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

it has almost nothing to do with wcing and with your idea youll start seeing 60+ autoers (theyll start useing auto melee for it too) thats a bad idea i think we should stick with what we have

i support but maybe the maples shuld be in f2p too becuz its kinda weird that you can burn em there but you cannot cut them...
