I STRONGLY dissagree with the Firemaking Req. or the Combat Req. Alot of Pure skillers will rant about it and same thing with people who don't do firemaking. Its a WOODCUTTING Guild. You shouldn't have to have other skills to get into it.

REQUIRMENTS

 

-Must Pass Little Trivia Before Entering (To prevent autoing)

 

(Got suggestions about the requriments, Post em below)

 

-Must set a pin, Which must be insterted when not talking for more then 10 minutes, If you miss the pin, You'll be booted off.

 

 

 

 

This will never work. It would be a total macro site. macroers can type, so all they have to do is just type like a period every five minutes and they get away with it. The trivia? Give me break. The macroer's owner just goes on once, answers the trivia, then goes away to leave the autoer alone.

great idea overall but

 

 

 

i dont think we need a cb lvl requirement(also cuz skillers shouldnt be restricted from using this guild), the fm lvl required and the question before entering is enough, also u should have the mage and maple trees gated off, so itll say-only members can use this feature- or something

 

 

 

and maybe have like, iunno, game competition with dwarves to cut wood, have like points or something u can spend on axes/xp kinda like in range guild, cuz this is a guild, not just a forest which someone decided to gate off

Keep the combat a three, i know with autoers an stuff but if theres trivia questions there not getting in? Why not have a wood cutting minigame? the person who gets the most logs keeps all of everyone elses, and these logs could be used to buy woodcutting stuff, i dunno, just throwing ideas out there

I have read all the way through this topic and a simple asnwer hasn't been said for the macro problem. Everytime you go to the bank you answer a question or put in a special PIN. I doubt macro users would want to bother with this all the time. Some one will msot likely find a flaw with this but this means no combat lvls, fletching or firemaking levels.

a great idea!!! maybe you could have another way to get the lumberjack clothes because i have tried getting them and it is too hard, i got over 25 boots and 18 hats and only one legs and NO TOP!!!! Maybe it oculd be cut a certain amount of logs in a certain amount of time to get a peice or while in the wc guild you can get a random event that you get a undead lunberjack rise from the ground and attack you and when you kill him he will drop a peice of the lumberjack clothing (maybe doing the logs or lumberjack you would get the peices you dont hav in order from boots, hat, legs, top maybe)

I agree, except the price of the logs should be decreased, other wise it would kill any market outside of the market. Have the logs be 400 gp each to buy, but the shop buys them for 200 each

havnt been on forms for a few months and now im back i see this topic is doing well (about 5 pages or so sence i was gone) i also got new ideas (if no one said them before) about the farming patch idea (idk how it went but i think people forgot about it ) it should be only 2-4 tree patches with no one to watch them so they could die there easy and also it should be f2p with p2p areas that give you a messge that you need to be a member to use... like in any other memeber only stuff in f2p.

great idea! but where to put such a place? if it were too close to a bank then prices would fall faster than a rock off a sky scraper. but if it were too far from a bank no body would go there...

I support, but there shouldn't be a combat requirment, as there are many skillers in runescape, and 85 or something woodcutting is a bit high, maybe make it 70 at max, as the highest current guild requirment is 68 :shock:

This is a great idea and I think it should be implimented into the game! The 35+ combat limit isn't good because of skillers. But maybe a quest can be required for it? And maybe they can stock dragon axes there.

afew notes the woodcutting requirement is abit too high for a guild think about all the other guilds max is like 60 to get in i think ( mining crafting etc.)

 

and also you cant make it both f2p and p2p it has too be one it just doesnt work having it with no trees on f2p then magic trees sprouting up in p2p.

 

and more likely from popular demand of woodcutters it will be a p2p guild
