I'm 100% sure they're there. I walked past them the other day.

They might be in Karamja volcano in p2p, but they are not there in f2p. Bats are a members only monster, and are only found in members worlds. If you don't believe me, or are not sure if another monster is p2p or f2p, check the Tip-It bestiary, it has detailed info on all monsters.
