After working very hard at school, I couldnt make any abstract sigs that I liked. They were to quick, they lacked alot. So thats why I quit making abstract sigs/ Photo manipulations/Pixels (Never made much pixels)/etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I got Photoshop CS in December 24 2005, that meens I own it 10 months at 24 october 2006. I liked using all those different effects this program has, and I allways wanted to try new stuff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But I realized I couldnt continue doing this, because school was getting harder and harder. When I didnt touch the computer for a week, my grades were getting better, and when I made sigs, they dropped.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thats why I want to focus on photography, since its a new hobby and I really like doing it. Maybe I even want to do it for a living in a few years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I might make abstracts and manips later on, but school has a higher priority then this. So see it as a long brake :P .

Man, you make me want to pack up and move to the netherlands...Texas only has so much beauty to it :? . I love the picture with the row of trees the most. And the one with the swamp-type thingy, that was really cool, too. :mrgreen:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By the way, what kind of camera do you use? I'm wanting to start photography next year in school (I am a sophmore, but the darned counselor made me take a comp course instead :wall: ).

nice work, i especially like the first one woop. I think that many of them would look in B&W, good photo's are very hard to take in colour. The barn one and the leaves, possibly the flowers would be cool. It's a dissapointment that your officially leaving sig making behind, but i kinda figured as you havn't made anything in several months. Nice to see you've found another passion, one that i enjoy myself, cept that the darkroom stuff is much better IMO, you have to try it if you havn't.

The camera Im using is my parants one ( :oops: ), a Nikon Coolpix L3 with 5,1 MPX.

 

 

 

If you start photography yourself, I suggest you go to a libary and get some photography books there. I did it myself, and it surprised me how many information there is about it, those books learned me how to use the flash in a proper way, even more.

My camera actually has a black and white option (no, not to brag or anything :P ) or should I try doing B&W in photoshop?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ive tried shooting fruits with a white background, and they ended up pretty good (but I think gallery posters wont like them)
