alrite, so youve all herd of abstracts made with photoshop, abstract skupltures, and abstract abstracts, but why not abstract pixels? so here you go, i went and tryed it out. remember, its a WIP, so i will be shading, and whatever.

edit: step 6 added, all to the left side of the longer end of the pencil has been shaded. the reason i think its more abstract is because there really is no light source. i just kinda shade wherever i think it fits.

It's nice, but I think it's too 'shy' as a piece (for want of a better word).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What I mean is that all the different parts do not interact with each other, it's just a designated area for each bit then leave it at that.

 

 

 

To make it uber cool, make them cross each other and interact.

 

 

 

Try to have as little of that background visible as possible.

Abstract is something that you can't tell what it is. This is more of just a collection (ablit, randomly) of varrious items.

toothbrush, cardbord box, pencil, rabbit, beer bottle, saw, snake, skatebord, rifle, and random shapes? seems rather abstract to me rofl... either way, i dont really care what you call it, id just like to know how to improve it...

I disagree, I think the 2nd design makes it all the more origional, sort of a cartoonish..random style, i love it :)

i say the more random the better! i like this a lot, but your lastest update, IMO, ruins the guy on the left, ( worm thingy)
