I assume you mean in wilderness.

Depending on your level; if you're 90+ combat, wear rune plate, legs and pick, so you only have 3 items should you die, but you have decent defence to escape with. A better option I would say though is dragonhide, to prevent those nasty magic attacks holding you still, gives you more chance to get away if you see pkers ;).

Me? Even though i can only mine addy, I would wear prayor boosting rboes, like monk robes, a blessed symbol, a pickaxe, and prayor potions, and some sharks. And a teleportation device. Pkers would not want to attack you since you have no valuable things, and would only attack you after you have mined the rune ore. Monsters will attack you, and protect prayors would help stop them from iterfereing. Prayor potions would help too.

Getting chicken legs when I say... BOO!

How about now... WILDERNESS!

Not to worry, Not to worry!

Unfortunately, teleportation is virtually useless when mining rune in f2p (your only hope is to log out) and if the red spiders do attack you (which doesn't happen all that often), you want to run to the other side of the rocks to avoid attack altogether so that you can log out the second a white dot appears on the minimap.

Also, even if you have no valuable things, pkers tend to kill you just for fun, and if they see you mining, they will never wait for you to finish mining. They will attack you ASAP to make sure that you don't log.

To answer the original question, I personally prefer dragonhide and five lobsters. If you get attacked, TURN ON PROTECT FROM MAGIC IMMEDIATELY! If you get hit with bind for the full duration, you're pretty much dead. Afterwards, run west to the ice giants (since nothing is attacking the pker, they should come under attack and therefore be unable to attack you for a while), then head south and try to log out. The lobsters are to help you make it to the giants

Or else I shall feast upon your soul!!!

Usually just some monk robes and my pick. I want to stay as light as possible so that I can be sure I will be able to get away from any pkers that show up. I usually pack a full complement of lobsters to make sure I don't die if attacked.

Currently, I wear rune full helm, g'hide body, rune leg and def ammy. Of course, I have rune pik with me. This set will prove good defence for all kinds of attack.

Any better solution?

At your combat I suggest full rune with a pcikaxe in your inventory. People will attack you a lot less and you can defend yourself if you want to.

2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

however, youll lose anther 30-80k because yo can only save 3 (or 4) items, on top of all your mined rune ores.

either prayer gear or dhide... as suggested above. It's risky busines anyway...

I dont wear rune because at least if I die I will make some profit..

Oh and don't wear your pick when you are not near the rocks, so people know your mining rune

Quit Runescape... Dec 2001 - Jan 2008 on and off... mostly off.

1 idea.. create many lvl 3 accs and give them 3 rune ore each.

anyway wear tank ranger's gear

full green dhide with runefullhelm
