When to start cut yews

Featured Replies

I'm currently lvl 80 wc and i was wondering when it's good to start cutting yews..

It's good to start now.

Normally lvl 70+.

If you want exp, stick to Willows.

Money? Yews aren't worth lots anymore...

Zybez.net lists Yews at 300+gp. If they were worth it at 230 a month ago, they're definitely worth it now.

Umm.... i started at level 60, and cut just fine, you should start now.

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

I'd think it was from the 99 skill capes, and the people who want 99 fletching who caused the price raise. Possibly some 99 firemakers as well.

It might be partly that icecube, but I remember seeing them rise before that, maybe the increase of pures needing yew longs to alch?

Start now, and add me. I will be in the market for 64k of them soon \'

Qizx2- Archmage

Personnumber100- Warlock for life.

Would you?

Although I myself started as soon as I got the chance, I would recomend 70+ as a good lvl to begin cut yew at.

Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115

Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)

Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering - 85

I personally think they're still rediculously slow (lvl 79 wc), but i've also heard that the jump from 79 to 80 makes them amazingly faster.

You'll be fine =)

But if you're just in it for the training, stick with willows or maples.
