knives669
Yeah! You should definitely take the SAT. It would give you a good idea of where you stand academically, and let you know what you need to prepare for.

foolgool
Take it, just for the sake of the experience. Its a good practice, and it tells you what you need to prepare for in your next 5 years of school. ~Foolgool The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132. Tigra00
Why wouldn't you? It's practice, at the least. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!

cadburys_egg
Invited? Lucky bugger. :P Compulsory for me. They don't really count towards anything, but they are a nice way to see where you stand. Assuming you use the same scale as we do (4-8), I got 7-7-6 (Maths, Science and English respectively.). I was proud with my results but quite miffed at the fact they count towards little.

issy2
Invited? Lucky bugger. :P Compulsory for me. They don't really count towards anything, but they are a nice way to see where you stand. True... yeah but I mean, so much pressure!!!! Oh give us a break... and all they count for is our groups in secondary school... I hated SATs... but I'll take this opportunity to tell you all I got 5b in Science and 5a in both Maths and English... Meh, I wouldn't bother. It so much unnecessary pressure, and for what? A few marks on a piece of paper? Hah, yeah, that's really, really informative. Tell you what, I can pm you 50 really boring questions, you can send me the answers and I'll tell you everything you need to know. It's just as good and you don't need to wait 3 months for a reply. No offence, Eggs, not aiming that at you. I just don't believe in exams.
Mr_Putter
I took a practice American SAT; I noticed that the math was super easy, but the English was super hard. It was really quite strange... BTW, in Canada, we only take SAT's if we plan to go to America to study. Universities here look mostly at your marks.

Devilsdragon
If it's free do it, it doesn't even take a whole saturday, you're out by 1pm(unless where you're taking it sucks and you start after 8:30am) I didn't prepare for it(mostly because I hate preparing for tests....) I got 710 math 550 reading and 510 or something in writing(I didn't give two [cabbage]s about that section, it doesn't count) my second time around First time I had a few answers in the wrong section of my answer sheet, but I got a 670 math and a 550 reading If you're a good test taker then you'll be fine, but I have a few friends who arn't, and it can really mess with where you want to go to college
