I helped a friend's pure at level like 52 by dropping 27 sharks. He ended up needing about 50 sharks to beat the boss :XD:

I died at level 92, then did it at that same level an hour later with better equipment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

No protection prayer works fully, but ranged prayer protects you from the axes and flying things (most of what he attacks you with) and melee prayer protects you from the stuff that hit you when you're close-by... As most of the stuff is ranged, having ranged prayer helps a lot! I did half the fight without prayer and the last half with, and I got hit so much LESS

im pretty sure i did that at around 75 - d scim and full rune.. didnt seem too hard for me

That was one of maybe 3 quests where I almost died. Well, one of those three I ACTUALLY died and lost a lot (to me at the time). It was that troll quest where the guy switches between range and melee. I was lagging so bad that my switches were always ending up on the opposite side. I left melee protect on and just ate and ate without attacking trying to get more than half xp and he still wiped the floor with me, lol. I haven't done a quest since without a teleport. :-w During Haunted Mines I was doing fine against him (60-70ish combat I think) with a dds but two really bad things happened. One, I got stuck in one of the carts some how and couldn't move while it thrashed my hp with ones, lol. I ate nearly my whole inventory before it finally let me free. Two, I brought a glory for my teleport. :oops: I ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to get the dang window to pop up long enough for me to tele. Made it with LITERALLY 2hp, lol. Then I was hit by poison. Naw, that would have really sucked though, lol.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I returned and took him out by dds speccing him and standing in a "safe" area (no carts/cranes) when he was too far away. Took most of a load of lobs but I was never in any risk. The poison probably did half the damage for me, lol. I wasn't about to get stuck in a cart again. :x

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you are having trouble, just bring your best plate, best legs, dds, and lots of shark. If you die, oh well just return. Seems rather unlikely that you would have to try that more than one or two times. Good luck to those who haven't done it yet! :D

I'm lvl 93 and i still haven't gotten around to it. Is it really that hard? I'ts supposed to be an intermediate level quest

lvl 38 i think, no help from my useless "friends!" god i hated it, used sharks and blue dhide with iron plate and helm, had no pray and no defence

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

although i did it 3rd time lucky but looking at lvl 100s that say that can't do it i have no idea how i did it :anxious:

I did it at 69 cb i believe, with hardly any prayer

I did it at level 68 or something

 

 

 

and i had a magic level of 67... he is very easy to defeat with magic...

It's been so long, probably 70s or 80s, but I defintley did it on less than 100.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I can see most people did it around 70s, at least I remember his level to be red, so I couldn't have done it 100+.

I did it on the day it came out, first confirmed person to do it i believe, at 109 comb, i didnt use any food lol.

 

 

 

My advice would be just take the best food you can make/fish and a dds with a super potion set, should be a cakewalk then.

that was an easy quest :wink:

probally not to low unless he had help from freinds, the lowest solo person to do it was probally a pure of around like high 50 - low 60 combat.

i did it at like 85 and it was easy lol... prayed range and used dds and whip

I'm pretty sure there's a level 69 who has finished all the quest so... :roll:

hmmm i think i will do this quest when i get membership again, 22k str exp :D

I did it tonight at level 76 after 3rd attempt. My training partner did it 69 without telling me...lol.
