woopidoo2
I wanted to make a photo of the city at night, but I just couldnt get it sharp. (thats impossible, using your hands only) so my photos were blurred all the time. I thought: what if I move it arround, what would happen? so I did, this is what I ended up with (All photos from Norway) ^The Water^ ^The Water^ If you like my work, here are more photos. -Please tell me if you use my photos, you can ask me for the full size through pm. dont use my work as your own. thanks you- [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]
greenslime89
Very nice - welcome back! Most are good but some (as you have admitted) are plagued with camera shake. My advice is to check your mount on the camera - most are screw in ones - and buy a tripod to suit that, it doesn't have to be expensive. I bought a Hama Star-42 for ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã15 and it's lasted me over 2 years and I used it last night to take a 10 second shot of moving traffic. I was pretty close to the traffic and I had the camera strap around my head and I pulled my head away slightly so I have a wee bit of camera shake, but nothing as bad as a handheld shot. Most of the shots work well despite the camera shake, if you used a shutter speed slower than 1/60s I applaud you =D> EDIT: What shutter speed were you using - and what apeture - I wanna know. I have to use F8.0 when shooting in the dark - it's the smallest apeture my camera has. Photos!
woopidoo2
Thanks, The camera doesnt allow me to adjust the shutter speed. I know, its very wierd but its not a pro camera. So I cant tell you how much the shutterspeed is, I (and the camera) just dont know. By the way, whats a mount? (A tripod is the thing you place under the camera, right? :anxious: ) And, can you tell me that photography forum again? ill post them there. remoteman
The mount is the bit that screws into the bottom of the camera, which then slots or slides into the top of the tripod. The photo's are cool, even if they were by mistake, i'm guessing that once you realised that it wouldn't work then you just had fun with it :P By a tripod and go to the exact same spots and show us the difference  "A disbelief in magic can force some poor souls into believing in authority and business"
