Holy_Monk
well you cant really blame the dude, like seriously think about this. If it was 3mill+ that you lost and that guy saw it he obviously Thought "Score!" and dude dont blame him for not giving it back because i would bet you or anyone else including myself in his shoes might have done the same depending on the situation. Maybe the guy(or girl) needed the money Maybe they are Broke and are just like you doing there best to get money. So depending on the situation you cant really say they are Arrogant and stuff cause i am sure there is a reason behind it. ----Retired Runescape Player 1/13/07-----

Ya, but the thing is if he died I would without a doubt return his items, cause that's what a real DK partner is supposed to do. In fact, if we went on a trip together today and he died I'd still return his stuff. That would definitely make him think :P . It'd help me a lot more to help him change then to get some pixelated money that I don't even need (I've got a couple dozen mil net worth, and few real needs or desires in this game). Meh, that's what I get for being forced to take a Morality class this year  . (by the way, he went with me in Full Guthans. He wasn't broke) [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. Screechingmu
Yes, there are some bad apples in this game... Just remember to take a deep breath and take a break. My Guide to Killing Green Dragon Autoers
oddfaery2
yea that does suak losing two sets of guthan, bu when u trade a yellow phat for a whip(after they came out when they were actually strong =) then whips price decrease to 6.4M and jagex makes them weaker...now that suaks. lol that's your own mistake... The only way whips have been "weakened" is that they don't always hit either max or 0 in wild against players anymore... The decline in prices has nothing to do with that either... it was inevitable due to the rising number of level 85 slayers, resulting in higher numbers of sellers and lower numbers of buyers. Trading a yellow for it may have been worth it at the time, but anybody could've told you it wouldn't be in the long run. welephant
As I thought this has turned into a flamefest. Well, not really actually, as everyone seems to be reading others opinions and then presenting their views in a was that is to the point but not hurtful. I feel it's the future of flaming. Thanks for support and such, and I feel bad for everyone that lost stuff themselves. Also, I'm well in support of that if you die to an npc, the items never spawn idea. Then you only have yourself to blame (but it would lead to a ridculous price increase in rares).

I would love that, mainly because it would eliminate the purpose behind [low life, immature] DK luring. Sadly, Jagex would get flamed to hell by nearly every single member of Runescape, and it would cause too many problems to actually be worth implementing. Too bad though, lurer free DK's would rock... and people would actually be scared to fight tough monsters, which is how it should be. fgfuyfyuiuy0
Yeah thats harsh dude. I myself lost a santa, but after rain there will be sunshine. I myself got a dchain drop today. And for you..go get a lot of food and so cheapskate barrows..fish for cash. All kinds of little things. Maybe cut mage logs and sell them. :) You'll be allright. :) I lost a green mask back in June. Maybe Robert is right. Just because I lost my green mask doesn't mean it will all be bad from here on out. There could be sunshine (Even though I haven't seen the sun shine through the clouds yet, I'm sure it will). I <3 Gears of War 2. Add me on Xbox Live and mention you are from Tif :D
AniseCookies
The thing with this, someone I knew awhile back ago found ranger boots and hat from a guy that just died. When the person begged for it back, they offered him 1mil for it. When he accepted, he started calling him a noob and a total idiot, and kept on ranting. That's why sometimes I think people don't deserve to get it back. If you die, you die, and usually it's your fault. And you ever do get your items back, you should be extremely appriciative towards that person for even thinking about giving it back to you and not being selfish and keeping it to themselves. bhargav1
You want mindgames of item thieves? Well that's a coincidence, I just had a conversation yesterday with the guy who stole my Spear at Leesters Dag King First Timers event. Keep in mind this guy was my student- I was the vet teaching him the ins and outs of how to mage Rex. Meh, he's no idiot little kid, but he's definitely immature as heck. jeez that kid is a DOUSCHE i don't knwo if you get banned for swearing but that was worth it! 94 mage 94 range 87 hits 80 defense, all 94 combat, all skill =) currently (retired?) from runescape, only play on occasion now http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=585887
xstompx
I know what you mean. I lost probably a good 15 mil in stuff from laggin at gargoyles once.... I was able to make the money back from kill the KQ, but it sucked for a long while and drained my cash. There wasn't anyone else at gargs... so I assume that it just disappeared :-P Bumma
