Darren
Have you checked out your Network configuration? Sometimes it is necessary to get rid of the automatic IP addresses and replace them with made-up static ones, or it could be that the default gateway isn't correcty set... so the connection times out every 5 mins or so (I had the same problem) Or DHCP might be disabled... enable it. Earpy
Who is your ISP? Have you tried connecting the modem to another computer if have have one?
JoeDaStudd
You checked that you are using the main phone line? My internet connect used todo the same thing then i realised i pluged it into a rubbish extension. Failing that check all the connection and make sure you installed all the software correctly [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]

Nova_Abbysal
Do you have DSL or Cable Internet? If DSL, thats the problem. I had DSL and it did that stuff to me and we switched to Cable. It works with cable. Happy Holidays!

It works with cable. I had DSL for about 2 years up until 2 weeks ago. I only had a couple small problems, nothing major. I never had the disconnects that you are talking about. swampdude
When you turn ur pc on press DEL or F12 (i forget which one it is) and it should take you to your BIOS. look through there and make sure that if u connect to your modem through a usb that your usb ports r turned on and same with ethernet port
