Star.
An entrepreneur, such as myself, would turn that $1000 into $10 million in a matter of days and the effect would be so large that they, in this case me, would be a world idol and be worshiped. Really? Well if you can do that, how come you haven't already done it? Surely $1000 isn't that hard to acquire, it's not that much money. I'll be here waiting for your name on CNN and MSNBC. Same :(. In our school to raise money we make everyone give in one pound to wear non-school uniform. With 240 students in every Year and 5 Years we make ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1000+ in a day, we normally do this for a charity but recently our schol has started doing it to make them a new sports gym :(. I wouldn't recommend giving it to homeless people. Some of them may use it for drugs. You can't be sure who does or doesn't use it. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
Ragen
The church has around 8,000 members - attendance is usually upwards of 10,000 a weekend - and the weekly offering is usually around $200,000. I know the debt is about $10 million and should be paid off in about 5 years - I believe they're moving ahead of schedule. Thats a big church. Mine is about 70 people at best for the Sunday service mainly old people. Are most American churches like that? Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar! I think I read that the average American church has 83 members - but I live in the Bible belt so here the average is more around 200 I believe. Southland Christian is actually one of the biggest churches in the world. :P
Nadril
I just figured what i'd do with the money. I would save it, keep it somewhere safe in case someone in my family or someone I knew got into an accident. That way I would have the money to help them out with medical bills / ect. $1000 to some random family just wouldn't work. Even if you give it to a charity that will send them out food, how long will that food last? A couple months maybe? And then... what then? Most people in third world countries problems are that the actual land its self is just not fit for growing food. It's not the fact that they just randomly "don't have food" or don't have enough money for food, but it's the fact that they are physicaly unable to grow most of it. Plus, I would rather be able to have it just incase of an emergency such as that.

I think he's being sarcastic. I'd probably give it to a homeless person in a way such that it could only be used to pay for food, accomdation, clothing and whatever it takes for him to get started with a job. anonimu
Umm... $1000 isn't anything... I'd probably just keep it, invest it in stuff misterxman and other tip.it mods don't want us to mention, or sign a contract with a random person in RS stating that they get the $1000 if they quit forever... Losers...Are you blind or ignoring me on purpose?Even though I sometimes side with religious people in some debates, I no longer consider myself religious. XxTearGodxX
I'd buy some cleaning supplies (toothpaste, shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes, soap and all that good stuff). Give each homeless person one and a few bucks to rent a hotel for the night so they can clean up, along with $25 cash.
kelem_ryu
I'd go to the city and wait for whatever opportunity presents itself for somebody to have a good time with a couple of bucks. Like giving a random person 10$ while passing by and leaving that person puzzling what that was all about. If i meet my favourite beggar i'd maybe invite him to eat, he's very thin anyway. If i meet my favourite punk I'd give him something to buy a couple bottles of vodka or whatever. If i wouldn't find anything better to do with it i'd give a nice party. Or i'd go to mcdonals order some ice cream and pay with a 10$ / Euro note and quickly leave. Something like that. I definitely wouldn't donate it to a charity.
