The Death of WG?

his Lordship is now a member of the tipit fourms, I just checked out a link in his recrutement topic. It would appear that all is going well and he has regained power.

He's always been a member of these forums. And I've yet to check, but the video is probably an old one when his Clan was a bit bigger. Since he's having to recruit by himself on an unused forum, I wouldn't say things are well.

Offline and unavailable.

Lordy is scary on TS, but funny the only thing i can remember him saying is "be right back, feeling really ill","great job guys", and "fall in now!@!$!"

I'm guessing there aren't many ex-wg or current wg members registered here. This is the entire story:

In about September of last year (forgive me if the date is incorrect, that is an approximation), His Lordship, after nearly 3 years of leading the Wilderness Guardians, left. He departed because of stress in real life, he had university and social problems apparently, and needed to spend alot more time away from the computer. Within the week, he demoted himself to normal member. This was just a title, however, because he was the root admin and still had full access to everything leaders did, including the admin CP. He appointed Twizzlers and Tmal as the two new primary leaders, who he had been mentoring for the previous few weeks and who he continued to mentor over the coming weeks.

Once they assumed ultimate command, Tmal and Twiz started doing a few things, that were revolutionising WG. They first raised the requirements, to 105, up from 100. They then started a ting called "Operation Purple Haze". OPH was basically two months in which apps would be closed, there would only be one raid per week, and each indivdual was expected to train as hard as possible. Levels were kept track of and the people gaining the most combat levels were rewarded. By the second week, I think it was, of OPH we had raised about 2 average combat levels, and held a raid. It was the most successful raid in WG history, to my knowledge. We pulled about 250 opts, a huge amount for us, and defeated many clans. We were delighted at our progress, and endeavored to continue what was to be a turning point in WG.

About two days after the raid, I turned on my computer and logged onto the forums. The first thing I noticed was the topic in important announcements - Lordship had returned. He was back to primary leader, and Tmal and Twiz were both normal/senior members. Apparently he had disagreed with the things Tmal + twiz were doing to the clan. In a huge flame was spilling over onto IRC, TS and multiple topics on the forums, Lordship explained that he had never wanted to raise the requirements (by now they were back at 100), because we received all the level 100-105 people who were looking for big clans, meaning lots of new members. He never wanted to do something like OPH because his experience as a leader told him it wouldn't work (he had previousely run a "raid revolution" which was unsuccessful). People complained that it was working, we had risen so many levels and our raids were becoming success stories, but these fell on deaf ears for Lordy. His Lordship then resumed command, and didn't listen to anyone. He posted a topic saying WG was closed, however a day later he reversed this decision and re-opened it, inviting people to leave if they wish. This led to a mass fall-out, only the extremely loyal, the stupid, and the people who didnt have anywhere else to go stayed in the clan. Some of teh greatest members the clan had ever had left, and most newer members did too. By the time we were done, there were probebly about 40-50 members left from the original 150+.

WG then continued to run. I recently heard they were defeated by Blades of Senerity after pulling only 45 opts to a raid in a prime time for most timezones. How Lordy must wish he still had the rest of us.

That ends the story, correct as far as I can remember and from my point of view.
