Holiday items + events

I think that the only reason party hats, masks, and santas look so good is because they're all worth 25m+. And bunny ears and scythes look good because the are very old.

Well it depends on opinion. I really love the Christmas 2005 clothes. <3:

By 'fittest' do you mean 'most selfish brat with the fastest internet connection?'

ah. of all the tradeable hol items, santa looks best. but still, if you think of party hats not as paper hats but as crowns, they look kinda good. masks are ugly though.

and yea, i figure jagex gonna give us some candy cane as a weap this x-mas?

who knows. :notalk:

I think that the holiday items and drops are getting worse and worse? This halloween one took 10 mins and the items don't even look good..

I don't agree! The new costume's are very beatuifull, and I like the easter ring too! But the Party hats is also a very good idea, and of course I would want one of those too!

Before I start, I would like to make it clear that in no way is this money orientated. Based purely on looks.

Ok, so we all know about the party hats. They look quite cool, no?

Then there were halloween masks, which in my opinion look totally awesome. Then bunny ears and scythe, which are both pretty cool items. But what do we get now...skele outfits and pumpkin heads....

Do you know how long it took just to get a party hat? 0 seconds. (I think, from what I read/heard, they were just lying on the ground everywhere...)

But anyway, I'd have to agree with you that they are getting worse and worse. I just think that Jagex is running out of ideas on new holiday items... :?

they werent just lying on the ground they were dropped in christmas crackers which you should pop with another player and getting a random reward+a party hat (one got the random reward the other one a party hat)

Owya, except for the clothes,

The Chicken owned aswell!!

Zombie Head was stupid.

The Scared Emote was the only thing fun about it.

But since that was re-released...

Ow man, Jagex did well on the holidays, but re-releasing that...

They really screwed up, now I want Scythe aswell

i think they need to have 1 item per holiday...all the good ones u describe are like that...and yes i know this will NEVER happen and i'll probobly get flamed but make then tradeable :-X

I agree, whole heartedly... For our event costumes, it should be something with practicality for through out the entire year. Something like a pumpkin mask is just silly. Even santa hats are fashionable today.

Event wise, a cool idea would be that santa comes to town with an injury or something. Who's gonna deliver his gifts? You! Then, you have to go all over the runescape (F2P) world delivering gifts to all the nice Non playables. At the end, you'll be given a reward of sorts from jolly old St. Nick for helping him in his time of need! So.... that's my idea.

But, otherwise, you're right, the fashionability of the holiday event rewards is declining.

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, your commodity drops in value.

Count all the random event and holiday event items there are for your head.

actually it drops were very time consuming to get because you never knew when they would drop it and then you'd miss it or peopel would take them all before you. There were a lot of complaints to jagex.

I haven't played for a while and I missed a few holiday items, hate it :(

I have got:

yoyo -> quite good

zombie head -> can be fun when you're feeling lonely ;)

easterring -> would have been a lot nicer if you could change into a rabit (as stated)

halloween clothing -and pumpkin hat> it just looks awful

Wish I got the scarves and hats :(
