indy500fan
Hasn't this exact same test been posted before? Well regardless, I said this about the last one, and I'll say it about this one. A lot of these questions can't be answered by just an agree or disagree. They are a lot more complicated. I've only read the first one, so I'm going off of that. If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations. The economy shouldn't serve anybody. If I say disagree, it is going to view that as I think it should serve trans-national corporations. I don't think it should serve them either. I guess I'll take it and edit back in my score. indy500fan
You're exactly right. That frustrated me several times when I took it last night. I'd say about a third of them were like that. Very frustrating. Anyways, my score was: Your political compass Economic Left/Right: 6.63 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.44 Since about a third of the questions were stupid, I say take into account a + or - 3.33 error margin. Anesthesia
I was... Economic Left/Right: -3.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.72 Which puts me near a certain racist bigot named Ghandi. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

Ah yeah, I have the same problem. Libertarians have a stereotype for being super-pro-rich, and I don't think I'm... that. I know I'm very liberal (pro-freedom) on most social issues - but on economic issues, I often waver between "GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT INTERFERE WITH OUR FREEDOM" and "Ahhh but our society is so unjust, and everyone should have equal opportunity." It's not that I would ever consider myself a socialist, I think, but an understanding that we should have both freedom and lack of government interference, but also a society (not governmentally) imposed lack of interference by major corporations on our lifestyles, would be sweet :D certainly a more anarchist view than a libertarian one. However, I recognize that while this a noble ideal, it is one fairly impractical to strive for atm. Everybody hug and spread the love :D
