xvillexvalox Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 It's considered macroing, since you can say "Buying all law runes 300ea xvillex" 3 times per secound with it, it gives an unfair advantage over normal players. If you use one and set the interval to a reasonable amount then its fine, but you spam rediculously then you will get punished. Don't be afraid your life will end, be afraid it will never begin. (this is for badly made autotypers with no randomised intervals/mistakes) Or if they have the typer set to something really obvious like 1 time a second. And if it is allowed, why would people be getting muted because of it :-s but what if you type the same thing over and over pretty quickly? can mods or whoever might chose to ban/mute you tell whether you are 'macroing' or not? Most people vary their message on purpose to show their not autotyping. Only autotypers will make a basic spelling mistake 7 times in a row, or type exactly the same thing over and over again.
