Bombing_7000
Yea they should, but I think the current quests will be the F2P Quests.. they won't change it.
25leaf
Yes I love quest and would enjoy some new f2p ones. An easy one to make f2p would be recruitment drive, just a thought though.

pansynator
Yeah quests rule. I agree. More f2p quests. Bring a bit more story-line and background into the game for the non members. Theres no real f2p quest that gives you any history of Runescape. We do what the quest tells us, not knowing "why". ---Do not ask God for an easy life. D. V. Devnull
Hello all. I personally support this. =D> Just for starters, they could create an F2P/P2P Quest corresponding with the "More F2P Bank Space" thread I have seen elsewhere here. Add like 12 spaces for beating the quest for F2P and 48 for beating it as a P2P. At least it would then have some reasonable extension off of it. :? Then, of course, I'd like a quest that would unlock a shop in F2P where after a person first gains stuff like Keys (Melzar's Maze, Draynor Manor Key) and Weapons (SilverLight, Falador Blurite Sword) from quests, they could get any of those items that were lost for a reasonable price. :P Figured I would at least put those out in the air to expand on... ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
remigo
i don't wanna start a flamewar but, i think free player get enough for free i mean, we pay, we deserve it :) if f2p get's updated even more then more ppl wil think it's intresting to go back to f2p and just play there i'd say, keep f2p as it is
mikeb912
Maybe not as far as a true quest but how about a mini quest like the Wise Old Man thing for members? Like just collecting some random items for someone.
lord_ownage
i know wat u guys r saying but im a member too but i like to play f3p sometimes and i know they seserve f2p quests atleast! darkritual4
Alot of members think that "F2P don't deserve new stuff" because "members will go back to being F2P" be serious now i mean one quest wont converge i duno 500k players to go back to F2P lol. I like the suggestion for more bank space after quest because its just so annoying having to drop your toy horsey for a more expensive item. P.S. ThurinEthir
I'd say one quest. And that's all you get for 2007. Why? Well, you have to look at the rewards of the quest... Description of this Quest: EXTREMELY HARD. Well, harder than Dragon Slayer. And it requires non-combat skills as well. It'll probably be something like what I hear One Small Favor is like, meaning you have to collect a bunch of items (using your skills), and that's basically the quest. Sounds easy? Just ask the people that have done stuff like this for the WOM or for OSF (possibly). Rewards: -12 more bank spaces for F2P, 48 for P2P (Partially Devnull's suggestion, I'm not sure which one of us came up with the quest for bank space idea first) -Ability to buy a new high level armor, something between rune and granite. And it'll cost quite a lot. -Access to the Games Room in Burthorpe through a portal in the Wilderness. I think that should be good, I've seen too many topics wanting at least one of the updates I've covered. Giordano
Your suggestion is 3 lines, pretty much "More f2p quests" statement. Now please read the other F2P threads and the post about "Jagex is a company..." is my opionion. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." I don't know about you, but that lesser in the maze almost flattened me-it took 16 lobbies to kill the thing. And I had strenght pots and was level 47. And I had defensive prayer on. +15% defense. On topic: penquingeek3's idea of a quest is pretty good. Maybe add somehow runecrafting chaos (though wilderness, I know Jagex won't just give use chao rcing.) Maybe bringing rune essance to any priest and asking them to purify the essance, or using the essance on an alter to purify the essance, then running to some portal in level 20ish wilderness. Thank the world for spell checkers.
pansynator
I like your idea. I, frankly am sick of dropping my items. 12 more bank spaces would be quite helpful. ---Do not ask God for an easy life. BrineShrimp
I am sure that they will add more, but at the moment they are adding things for the higher leveled players. Macmaster92
Why should jagex use thier time on people who dont pay to play the game when they can keep people who do pay intersted? 1. If you have enough stuff that is valuble and is not junk and your bank is full with vaubles then that means it is time for you to be a member !!!! 2. If your so devoted to the game that you want more bank space and quests then you should just pay the 5 bucks. ( if you can afford a brodband connecton and a computer you can afford 60$ a year) :x 3. F2p is only to try the game and see if you like it enough to play it. f2p has more than enough to try the game out. It's kind of like a free trial of a software. Its only to see if you really want to buy it. Thats why you dont get all the benifits.
darkritual4
What do you mean all the benefits? They get like half, scratch that a third of the stuff we get. Plus he didn't say its only for F2P, members get it to. So just stop saying that they don't deserve anything, I mean a quest every year wouldn't cause an outbreak. pansynator
Not that we don't wanna "support" the game. By playing it, even for free we are supporting it. Ability to Craft Green D'hide (or just the studded stuff and coifs might do), and having a few monsters to kill to get it. (This problem drives rangers mad... ...) Also maybe add a few (like 4 max) new potion options for stuff like mage/range/attack/defense. I'm noticing that only having Strength Potions is leaving a little bit of imbalance in the fighting tables... But scratch the Burthorpe Games Room, because that's located in a P2P map area. Yeah, I know... "D_V_Devnull, thinking that won't work???" ...Let's just say overstepping our current map limits for the timebeing might really be a bit much. :? There are other reaons people don't become a member other than they don't want to pay. Too true. :-s There are those, including me, that when everything is said and done, there is only barely enough money for the phones/electricity/water/gas/broadband/food/house, and that's it. No overhead left for building a series of PCs to have fun on or pay $5/month for P2P RuneScape. :( ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... The ability to make or buy new potions is good, although nothing too good. About the Games Room... I said you would access it through a portal in the Wilderness. Level 25 or something, so you couldn't just teleport out. And you'd get out the same way, with a portal leading you back into the Wildy. I'm not sure how this would work, but maybe having the Games Room teleport proof for F2P. If you really still don't like it, possibly a whole new Games Room...Or something... Maybe locate it in a sealed cave under the teleport entry? :-s A hair Off-topic, but needs answering: Off topic=Mr Devnull Now i know where i've seen you, Mr. Devnull, in the examine player post. faisalhype
i agree aswell, though i am p2p, i would love some, so that people in f2p will think again. the last best update was stronghold of security but that didnt even last a day for me, but if they are going to make a f2p new quest, make it extra extra hard so that they can be challenged for ages but i doubt jagex will allow it because f2p is demo version and p2p is full, updating a demo version dosent seem right but only on certain circumstances. but id say more f2p quests for the people. 1150+ total, 151 questpoints and 76 combat.. is it good? Plz pm me for your thoughts.Join the campaign for more F2P Bank space!
