D. V. Devnull
no new f2p quests... and let jagex think about what they will or wont give f2p... Jagex has procrastinated. That, among other things, began this thread. They have spent too long, thinking that using "vinegar" (as that famous saying goes) will work better than "honey" (as that famous saying also notes), and it failed. It is now beginning a giant build up into a super-giant backlash in their face... Surely, you would have noticed this? :| (Off-Topic: You're funny, hating quests like this... ...) ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... Lemeja
I agree 100% even though I'm a mem, but I can see why Jagex doesn't want to release free quests. It's just a way to get more money because when a f2p finishes all the free quests they'll get bored and will probably want to become a mem so they can do more quests. Oh and BTW my friend has a lvl 9 acc in the champs guild......
muckytears
Off topic: You did dragon slayer at level 30? I don't know about you, but that lesser in the maze almost flattened me-it took 16 lobbies to kill the thing. And I had strenght pots and was level 47. And I had defensive prayer on. +15% defense. i did dragon slayer at lvl 28, it was quite easy, mith longsword, full rune (chainbody instead of plate) strength +5% 20 lobbies, i owned him
Warned
Hm, agree. F2P got's not so much Quest's and there should be like 2-3 more that are longer and harder than Dragon Slayer ;).Then people will ask for quest longer and harder than the new hardest. No new quests for f2p, we already have a great game, let's not complain of what we not have. The secret of creativity is knowing how to hide your sources. Gee, I'd like to have a quest that would require Dragon Slayer to be complete and Minimum Level 50 on all F2P skills before you could do it... :P ...Sure, it would ruin some types of pures, but then again, the final boss you'd fight would require you to have those kinds of levels. Something like this would weed out the RS weaklings and is therefore why it should exist, and is part of why anyone is complaining... Plus, with that Tz-Tok-Jad out there, something nastier than Elvarg in a quest would make a GREAT PREVIEW for member situation things (quests, mini-quests, jobs, mini-games, etc.)... P2P's should hop on board with this! ~Mr. Devnull (BTW, I'm only an F2P, but do you see my logic?) and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And i don't get the membership all free like my parent's pay for it and i just play Runescape Non stop, i have to help out around the house and do lot's of job's. And if my parents were "multi-million dollar rich lunatics" then i would be playing world of warcraft for $30 a month. that's like $360 a year. 98% of teenagers surround their heads with rap music put this is in your signature if you're one of the 2% who stayed with rock (hardcore)

fakeitormakeit
be happy what you get for free. You get the holiday mini-events and you usually get a big update each year which includes new monsters like for example how this year f2p got the Secruity Stronghold & the Champions Challenge thing I forget whats its called. Anyway, I doubt new quests for f2p will come out soon. If its that much of a problem for you, pay $5 a month. And just because you can afford or you are allowed a membership of $5 a month doesn't mean your spoiled. Memberships are usually given as birthday or holiday gifts or a result of good work and/or must be payed off by helping around the house. Spoiled is the people who play World of Warcraft and get away with their parents paying their like $25 subscription fee...

And if my parents were "multi-million dollar rich lunatics" then i would be playing world of warcraft for $30 a month. that's like $360 a year. Here's a wake-up call for you: There are parents that just can't afford the $5/month for RuneScape for their kids, no matter what those kids do. You're lucky you can even be a P2P. And BTW, WoW is only $15/month. Do we really need to show double the cost for it? be happy what you get for free. You get the holiday mini-events and you usually get a big update each year which includes new monsters like for example how this year f2p got the Secruity Stronghold & the Champions Challenge thing I forget whats its called. Spoiled is the people who play World of Warcraft and get away with their parents paying their like $25 subscription fee... That "Champions Challenge", as you called it, is P2P-only. They goofed on the Stronghold. Those "Wolf (Level 14)" don't drop any bones. Even normal bones is better than nothing. :? As noted previously, not everyone can pay $5/month for RuneScape, and neither can everyone's parents, no matter what a person does. Again, WoW is $15/month, but does have an overly high starting price ... not everyone can pay that either. BTW, these days, the cost of living is far too high, yet death is not an option either. To even be able to play RuneScape(Members P2P) or WoW means you or your parents have spare change laying around to put into anything. And if you or your parents can afford as little as $5/month constantly, even for house chores being done in exchange, yes "spoiled" is a proper term. You have no real idea what it is like to be without money on the side for fun/projects/etc. ... Trying to keep from losing your head becomes a rapid impossibility with all the creative and fun thoughts mounting up, and insanity (and thoughts of suicide) will bite at your heels near constantly. Anywho, enjoy what you've got, but don't try to shove it down the throats of those who don't have the money for it. Not everyone has your kind of life situation. :shame: ~Mr. D. V. Doughnut
First off I didn't read many of the posts, but the gist of it seems to be some of you are saying yeah it will be a good idea, and others are like "No P2P PAY if F2P get more cabbage then we will go back to being F2P". Ok Let me argue against these morons with the You're not P2P argument. Alright, how long were you F2P before going P2P? I know I was for at least a year and a half. That gave me enough time to appreciate what Runescape was about, it gave me enough time to read through Tip.it's guides(this was way before knowledge database came out) and to become high enough in all of my skills to really appreciate being F2P. Some of the F2P can't become P2P for some obvious reasons such as, paranoid parents, no money, not enough time to play, ect. Now let me ask you what have the F2P gotten recently? Stronghold of security new TT items to buy and graphical updates. For them not really paying that was a hefty list of updates for them the past year. Now many use the argument that "If F2P get more stuff P2P won't become P2P again". Ok so you P2P out there haven't renewed your sub because they are able to buy some new items, have a new training area, and because the map looks better. I don't know about you but as me being a member I still have those things. One quest will not make those P2P who can pay go back to being F2P. Who knows maybe if they made a F2P quest with the quality of say like Legends or Monkey Madness the F2P will be like "Wow, this quest was amazing, let me get P2P so I can have access to more quests like these". I'm personally all for F2P getting a quest or two per year and maybe some new robes/weapons/armor. Why? because I remember when I couldn't be P2P and how much it sucked but I could do nothing about it. Ugh, I hope that was coherent enough. -.- "A time comes when silence is betrayal" MLKJ Speak your mind, but be civil.Get mad, but do not rage.Do unto others as you would want done to yourself. The_Gabe
they should make more f2p quests i mean a lvl 30 can do all the quests! there are some quest suggestions out there and i think there should be more f2p quests!! plz post not expecting many posts but every1 loves quest right...right... :uhh: Off topic: You did dragon slayer at level 30? On topic: penquingeek3's idea of a quest is pretty good. Maybe add somehow runecrafting chaos (though wilderness, I know Jagex won't just give use chao rcing.) Maybe bringing rune essance to any priest and asking them to purify the essance, or using the essance on an alter to purify the essance, then running to some portal in level 20ish wilderness. I saw a lvl 30 killing the dragon in d slayer Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
