If you talk to Leonardo da Vinci (or whatever) near the Crafting Guild in a F2P server he will say:

- I don't have time to waste with such a stupid (or something) person in a free-to-play server.

No! You'll die if you try to kill that farmer!
nah whips should be as left as is. besides theyre the intestine of an abbysal demon (i think) have fun crafting that.

I would be happy with:

1 more quest. Actually, 1 more hard quest. Harder than Dragon Slayer, please. Much harder, so I can work on it instead of powerminning the remaining 3.5k iron ore I need for level 60 minning.

1 more line of bank space. Come on, range/mage stuff takes up two rows (and I have no range/mage armor), my melee 1, my tools (moulds, hammers, chisel, thread, needle) 1. That's not counting the other random stuff I have (ores, bars, pickaxes, food, tiaras, keys). Just 1 line would help so much.

Off topic: If you ever catch me in rimmington mines in world 73, chances are I'm giving away free iron ore. Just trade me, and I'll hand the ore over.)

Jagex has the f2p game there as a sample for the full version. Its not that they are neglecting the F2p game, they just have to make a living. (and extremely large living) :D

Spam DEF: Any post, paragraph, or sentence that does not add to the value of the thread.

jagex is a company like every other company out there, and they need to make money or you can just give up on playing, if they cant appeal and get enough members they will have to shut down, its just how companys works

Umm.. Maybe look at it from JaGeX's perspective?

You are paying for the FREE game. If you want more (and to be able to boast upon a dragon armoured P2P logo) pay the money.

Meh,

Merry Christmas :P

We arent paying to play free, hense the word "free" its the people who put the advertisments on Runescape who pay for the whole Free To Play community of Runescape to play. But i agree with your second query, even though my parents will never let me become a member and i have all i need in Free to Play (Full Saradomin, 22k Lobs and 2mill) all a person needs to survive lol. (of course i have more than what i mentioned) but yeah.... Well those are my thoughts

F2P is a demo! If you don't want to be degraded, buy the full game! Forget about members and nonmembers, its just the demo part of the game that is free. Imagine getting a game demo for a game that only allows you to play one or two levels. Would you keep playing the demo for years raising all your stats? NO! If you really liked it, you would buy the full game!

Its still a pretty nasty thing to do and there probably discouraging people to play there game.

Well said. This is exactly the feeling I am having about Jagex right now from just reading about it. Jagex will end up killing themselves, though, if they keep being degrading to F2P'ers. And they're dead for certain if it becomes all P2P-only. No one will pay $5/month, if they are in their right mind, just to preview a game. :notalk:

BTW, Jagex is already having a massive backlash well up in just the Tip.It forums alone, AIMED ENTIRELY AT JAGEX, over what Jagex is doing. I'm certain if Tip.It themselves were to suddenly turn nasty about the backlash and go against it, they'd have a major backlash from their community of their own to deal with. :( (Sadly, I'd probably end up being one of the people participating in the backlash. Just up and shunning all your F2P Forum Users can be deadly. So I am glad Tip.It hasn't gone against the movement that is building against Jagex. ::' ...I almost wonder if they want to see if the F2P-ers will get anywhere in reforming Jagex in some way...)

You're rather funny, talking like that. You really haven't realized, have you? F2P is the Full Game, P2P is the 20-some-plus expansion packs. Oh, and one more thing... It is possible for an F2P to be as good in combat, if not better than, any P2P.

Please, QUIT acting like F2P is some kind of sub-species. You're only insulting yourself in the process. How? You started out as an F2P-er. You end up having to come back to there to sell some of your wares to get by. Are you really trying to mark yourself as being so low? Sure looks like it to me.

How can you say that! I'm FTP and I think that Jagex have been upgrading it more than ever before and I'm very appreciative. Think, we got plenty of graphical updates and we were lucky enough to get the stronghold of security. Not to mention we get to buy some of the stylish new treasure trail stuff'. AND don't forget we are allowed to join in with the holiday events.

Some people are just so unappreciative.

Finally an F2Per that's happy with what he's got! :-)
