Blueleader9
hello, as mentioned above, i'm going for "it" which is 99 str. I am currently at lvl 76 str. I know it will take VERY long. I am thinking of using gorrilas in ape atoll and probably not PC because it is boring. right now i have a whip, d scimmy, dds,d long, d skirt, rune pl8, beserker and a glory. As for cash i only have about 400k :( can you guys give me tips like other places to train, or what to wear. And finally how long it will take. thanks, blue I'm wearing Rune Axe.Wearing? Did you selotape the axe on your chest?
Lunar_Drifter
Well if you wanna spend no money, then do PC. If you want drops, go with something else. Fire Giants are decent if you've got the defence for them. Otherwise, you could try Bandits while wearing a God Cape, or if you're on a really tight budget, you could just do Experiements. Blueleader9
ok...so gorillas are out of the picture? and can someone explain how banits works plz. I'm wearing Rune Axe.Wearing? Did you selotape the axe on your chest?
Lunar_Drifter
Well, Gorillas are OK experience, but not at your level. And bandits are out in the Desert, but you can take a carpet ride to them. Just wear a piece of armour from Zamorak or Guthix (Methinks), and stand in the bar. They'll auto attack you indefinitely. Great for multitasking. Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome!
djp2rr
Daggonaths under lighthouse is a good place if you just want exp (though they drop high level seeds). They don't hit often, but horror from the deep quest is required... Your best armour will be sufficent...
Blueleader9
ok i think i'll try bandits. What should i bring?(like food and armor) also should i use d scimmy, d long , or dds? meol
I've a friend that usually trains with bandits, he told me it's great experience with no effort if you wear Verac's (the barrows set that heals you). If you can't use it, I'd suggest you to bring high defense armor, lots of food in order to last longer. Also, a piece of Saradomin or Zamorak clothing (rune trimmed armor, books, capes, (un)holy symbols) is necessary. -Hope this helps! This signature is intentionally left blank. Severation
meol, I think you mean Guthans when you say 'the barrows set that heals you' however, this costs around 9M, and from what youve said, you dont have that much If I were you, id go with dagannoth
Yoshi161
It's guthans that heals you. I use to train there some untill I started doing slayer, they're great xp. You can wear anything zammy or sara (Like god cape or prayer book) and they will attack you, all of them will also attack you if you attack one of them (they will say something like we dont like trouble makers in this town lol). I stopped paying attention one day, PMing frineds, and lost a few 100K in items after the waterskins ran out. Or at least I think that's what happened... aznmidget448
Pest Control? Security Stronghold Flesh Crawlers are good xp, but only drops are iron ores and body runes.
nightshade53
D Scim. Pretty much always - maybe take bones to peaches spells to bandits if you don't have Guthan's :? Idk if you can AFK at bandits without Guth :x I've heard that the Dags under the lighthour are good XP, but pest control is by far the best. Gin_and_Tonic
Ok, heres a few things i'll clear up. Bandits: You DO NOT need waterskins inside the base. Just take one while you run there. Wear your BEST armour and take a (4) dose super set. Take GOOD food, sharks, monks etc. Wear a good piece, cape i'd suggest. They'll all auto attack you. Watch your life, and take a duel ring for easy leave/go. I would recommend this. Pest control: Easy, but boring. Lack of Hitpoint xp. Finding a good world can be hard, unless you join afflication (90+)... Its ok, i got alot of my range levels here, but then i wanted hitpoints so i left. Fire Dragons: Good with high defence. Take a wealth if you're going, and take GOOD ARMOUR and lots of food. Ok, Waterfall quest needed though. They hit high, hard, and often, so watch out. Dagganoths: Not the primes, the regular ones. Good, but underneath the lighthouse, after 'Horror from the deep' quest, there are alot of range creatures which will hit you due to multi combat. They're not high levels, but theres alot of them. The daggs themselves have high defence, so melee can be though if you're going to try and stay for long lengths of time... Not advised, but they're ok if you're bored. (Im not sure on their drops) Thats about all i can suggest. Goodluck. Also, you're not planning using the whip for strength xp are you? It deals the xp between all three melee stats...
