Help needed on capes.....

Featured Replies

Well, I've just finished getting my first two capes, fletching and cooking. I don't know what one to get next. I really want a cape because a friend (youknowwho) said he'll pay for it. I'm currenly deciding between wc, magic, fm, fishing and attack in that order. All opinions and views are welcome.

Ooo, Oooo, go for Hunter! Its Hawt \'

I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet.

Get attack. The red cloak looks sick with full d :P

That's the one I'm going for atm

If someone is paying for it, pick an expensive skill like Construction!

Maybe Farming, hardly anyone I see has a Farming cape. Depends if you like Farming or not.

Ok, here's the criteria I'm weighing the different skills on:

1)Speed of xp

2)Profit

3)Xp in other skills

Wc

1) willows aren't really wonderful xp....

2)~4.5-5m, depending on the prices I sell at

3)I could get fm xp for well over 99, but I don't burn willows :notalk:

Magic

1)not bad xp

2)i sould get serious cash if I know what I'm doing <.< :XD:

3) not really....

fm

1)decent xp, or so I hear

2)lose like 10m :-X :ohnoes:

3)not really

fishing

1)decent xp

2) :o serious profit, about 6m

3)basically 99 cooking all over again, should get xp almost to 30m

attack

1)not bad, but not what I want

2)maybe ~1m if I pc all the way >.<

3)slayer and hp xo

I thought about agility until I realized I wanted a third cape before 2008

Erm, firemaking costs about 3m...

Burn 100k Willows....

You can get 99 in:

1. Wc since it's your next highest skill

2. Your favourite skill

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Burn, baby, burn!

Ahem.. You would like.. lose money for firemaking, but at the same time you could get woodcutting. So like.. two capes! Does it get better?

Well. Aside from the fact that it's not really profitable, at the end you could cut down any tree in sight and burn it too! Just to show off..
