23 hours total into it and I've had it since Christmas. Thanks for that compliment lol. Just so you guys know, my thief is now job lvl 99 and I made sure I saved after I got it lol.

 

Just wondering, for those of you who have beaten the Crystal Tower, what jobs did all of your guys have? For me, a Dragoon, a Black Belt, A knight, and a Ninja just arent working... What can I use to beat the four bosses after Xande?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I heard that you should use a Cleric, a Dragoon, a BlackBelt and either a Summoner or a Ninja.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That sounds good, but what the hell is a Cleric? I don't see it on my list of jobs... Is something wrong with me? :uhh:

Ha I guess I'm lucky cause when I fought odin I had refia at job level 72 thief and I got the lance... and it is amazing... amazing enough that I even suggest replaying just to get it, it's the second best weapon for dragoons (only weaker then the dragoons master weapon). And for classes for crystal tower, the most common set up is devout, summoner, ninja, and another mellee attacker. Save your shurikens to through on the tougher bosses by your own judgement. And whenever you feel like doing the sidequests (which I really want to do so I can get the job master weapons/armor) just post your friends code for ffiii. You need to mail 7 real people through the whole mognet thing and what not. I can explain better if you want. Seemingly long post hmm.

Remember me? I had a dragoon at job level 99, refia's was at 93 (red mage), my ninja was at 24 :lol: and my dark knight at job level 90 with everyone at level 70.Crystal tower was a pain!!! :wall:

Ok, thanks for the suggestions of jobs guys, just wondering... Whats with that yellow dragon that I ran into in the Crystal Tower? It had soooo many hits and only dropped an elixer. I remember reading something about these dragons but I can't remember what it was. #-o

Well from what I know the *insert color here* dragons drop *hidden class name here* armor/weapons. I'm not sure if you can get the the armor/weapons without unlocking the class.

Well that really pisses me off then, cause I've been through that tower atleast 8 times, and I've only gotten the dragon once!

Ahh shoot, getting my RPGs mixed up. I mean't a Devout.

Just wondering, whats so great about the Onion Knight? Also, where can I get gear for once once I get the job? A few of my friends were talking about it and I was so confused lol.

Well Onion Knights are basically suped up red mages... REALLY SUPED UP. Meaning they can use all magic (save summoning) and I think most weapons. You get they're gear from those colored dragons (noting my above statement). And you can fight those dragons in the ??? Dungeon which you get in another sidequest. Oh and the Onion Knights are only really good when you're characters are higher then level 90 (NOT JOB LEVEL). And I want to do the sidequests before I beat the game, but I don't have any friend codes to do the whole mognet thing. Help anyone?

Yeah. Load up on hi potions, change your theif's class to a white mage. Give your warrior a shield, seeing as the salamander can't heal himself, you can wait out the battle. Put both mages in the rear of the party, and heal with the white mage and hi-potions if anyone falls below 150 health.

I'm way past the salamander... that was quite a while ago, now I have four lvl 50s... I have to train some more though cause I can't kill the 2-headed dragon or ceberus...

Time to go try the final bosses once more... I was just about there when I ran into my second ever Yellow Dragon. I was pissed cause the last one gave me an elixer, this time I got the Onion Helm. I was happy, but also mad I had to walk all hte way back through the tower to go save lol. Anyways, I'm on my way through the tower right now, about to try with a lvl 55 Dragoon, job level 99. A lvl 54 Devout, job lvl 34. A lvl 54 Summoner, job lvl 42. And a lvl 54 Ninja, job level 46. Think I can do it? Lol, all of my character have gone up 5 lvls today and atleast 20 job levels! \

Ok, which is easier, Ceberus or 2-headed Dragon? I gotta fight one of those two now that the other two are dead.... I need answers quickly please! :pray:
