January 2, 200719 yr Luring is a buissiness that has long been profitable..to fall for this old skool trick you have to be pretty stupid , however, many do and someone i know has made over 30M doing this. What it acctually seems to be is a grey (barely legal) stupid way of making money off of honest players. A quote from a JaGex moderator " luring is evil but not against the rules, the players know the danger when they step into the wilderness" yes they do know the danger but some are 9 years old lol, i think JaGex should make it against the rules to lure (even though the age limit is 13+) anyone else agree with me? util then i just have to do what i do to make money sigh* going on my pure, pretending to get lured and killing them on my main hehe. I wish i could just report abuse.
January 2, 200719 yr Author also if you lure . please post your defence here :D id love to hear your side, just dont get mad
January 2, 200719 yr There would be a lot of work getting Jagex to put it on the report abuse, because they are completely aware of luring but they have been against putting it on the report abuse before. 100% F2P- 70 CB, My goal of 1100 total level- My goal for 1100 total f2pTFS Leader - http://z11.invisionfree.com/TTFS/index.php?
January 2, 200719 yr No its not item scamming nor will it ever be reportable.. The player knows there going to be steping into the wildy, and once they do...they're a open target.
January 2, 200719 yr Not other types of Luring such as, sending a trade off to them outside of the wild then running inside of the wild to get them in. Yes it should be, or atleast people should not brag about it, that really gets me mad :x Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.
January 2, 200719 yr i agree it should be reportable Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.
January 3, 200719 yr If someone already is wearing god armor(for example). And is pking with his god armor in wilderness AND you lure him some higher and kill it, it's allowable. But if you lie to someone it should be reportable.
January 3, 200719 yr Welcome to the wilderness! If you have enough experience to buy a rare and make that much money, you should have no problem preventing lures... 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
January 3, 200719 yr If your dumb enough to get lured, you deserve to lose your items. Quit RuneScape :)

I'm not in favor of luring, and I think it's lame but you just need some common sense to avoid it MY BEST ITEM IS A BRONSE COIN! I KILLED ZEZIMA AND HE DROPED IT!

January 4, 200719 yr i make money by lures... i kill the guy trying to lure me \ Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
January 4, 200719 yr I don' want 2 sound like a scammer, but i think that this should not become reportable! It's their fault if they fall for it! Plus, when u enter the wildy theres a message that comes up (I've never read it before, but it would say something about not falling for stuff like that). If you fall for it, to bad! :P ^ What is this? Click to find out! ^ http://roflcoptergames.goforumgo.com
January 5, 200719 yr Anything to make scammers/rule breakers have a harder time, I support. And be rid of a couple of beggers while we're at it. Yet I do remain a pessimist. Luring is like the whole switching the item at the last second, and the other player ignores the second trade window. It really is perfectly legit, just hated. The fault lies in the victim for being fooled so easily or being too impatient. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.
January 5, 200719 yr I think if luring should be reportable, then so should begging. AKA its never going to happen (lol i think i used AKA wrong but oh well) Whats your average lv? viewtopic.php?t=615571&start=0&pos
January 5, 200719 yr Having been a victim of luring myself, here's another trick to watchout for. Be careful of so called runescape "friends" who ask you to pair up in wildy, "attack me" they say so I can see how good you are. you can probably guess the rest. A lesson well and truely learned. :boohoo:
