"Pixel" sigs - new trend lately?

Featured Replies

I've noticed a lot of pixel-art sigs nowadays. A while ago, they were very rare. Is this some type of new trend going on?

It's been some months since the pixel 'trend' happened.

Yeah. I think pixel sigs might be trendy 'cos they have retro style 8) or maybe because anyone can do them to a certain extent (No expensive software required!) I personally like them 'cos each individual pixel sig at any level seems seems to have more personality and individuality :). But what one tends to get with the lesser CG sigs are trendy filters and effects that all look the same that look good initially but then as more and more people use them they become stagnant and boring :(.
