Seriously, Jagex make updates for the common good, they don't strive to make your Runescape lives a living hell. Why cant we have some optimism? On a side-note, initially the Pure Ess update was the worst, I was merchanting Ess at that time, and if I hadn't previously been a member, I would have lost almost 3 million gp. As it turned out, I did rather well out of it, as the value of my ess went up almost two fold. But people also lost money from it, so I would say that initially it was not as well thought out as it could have been, but in the long run it has stabilised the price of essence and had the desired effect on autoers.
