i've spent countless hours on every skill and i haven't gotten him. the only one i havent gotten, is there something special you have to be doing to get him?

I will calmly say that it's random. But they're are rumours that if you act more like an autoer ( eg. prvt/public chat off, running from randoms) you can get luckier.

Randoms are NOT completly random. Theres always something that triggers it or increases the chance of getting one. I had a freaky forester 2 times on my pure after a pk trip when walking back to edgeville. My inventory was fully of junk some of wich i dropped and some i sold to the general shop. Then i moved some items in my inventory and poof freaky forester event. And it happend twice in the exact same way. Coincidence? I dont think so..

Ok, I'm gonna give you my best tip here. When you get a random event like MOM/Sandwitch lady/niles/giles/miles, Logout!!! Also logout when you get some of those combat randoms... This will really increase the chance that you get another random and hopefully a good one this time... If you already got full frog logout too... Because they are USELESS!

 

 

 

I got like 19 randoms within 24 hours by doing this

on my noobie i got him first week when it was released 5 times, and every time i was burying bones.. i guess its just luck.. on my main i got him twice while cooking :D

So far, the things which have been suspected of being possible triggers/attracters of Randoms are:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Repetition

 

 

 

2. Silence

 

 

 

3. Breaking repetition - the classic time for a random is when you switch from fishing to cooking, or do an alch after a period of combat or skill

 

 

 

4. Stupidity, such as ineffective "use withs"

 

 

 

5. Crowds

 

 

 

6. Randoms already seen in the area

 

 

 

7. Failing a random, eg. running, logging out, or if you can stand it, just walking to your destination while a random 1's and 2's you. Getting whacked by the sandwich lady

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Additionally, a full inventory means the MoM cannot give you a box, this is always said to result in an alternative random being drawn, if you were going to get a box.

i have got it twice in a day, i was fletching with priv and public in friends but he only gave me once a piece of the suit

I get a lot of randoms teleporting, so maybe you could get a bunch of laws and telly. plus you can gain some magic exp

Don't worry about it you will get it sometimes

 

 

 

I have gotten it once since it came out

act bot like e.g. dont speak when training

Its called a random event for a reason, acting like a bot does nothing, I got it three times and it happened randomly whilst doing different things. If you think it will help you I got the top at karamja docks, the legs at fishing guild docks and the hat in rogues den, but I am still going to say it is completely random.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If it makes you think any more of it, my bro got 2 of the parts whilst fishing and I got 2 of the parts whilst fishing as well, so maybe try some fishing.

i got the whole set and i'll tell you what i was doing for each piece.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1st piece: woodcutting.

 

 

 

2nd piece: just after i finished killing a guard.

 

 

 

3rd piece: doing herblore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

trust me it is as random as cheesey biscuits and tea.

it's purely randomness. i was in world 1 al-kharid..i was smelting steel bars..while i was about to go back to bank..poof! i had a forester random. but your chances of getting a random would increase if u turn chats off and stay on the same position of the camera..

I have found woodcutting and cooking is when I get this one... But as has been said, it is RANDOM.

I had it twice, both of the times at the mossies on Crandor, i dont know if i was burying b bones or fighting them at the time i got him.

ive had him twice. i think i got it from woodcutting willows but im not shure
