I so shouldn't be sticking my nose into this... But I have to agree with him cad... It seems like all your posts while giving C\C are quick and a bit sharp... Try and be positive even if it goes against your personality, God knows it goes against mine...

As negative as it may seem to you guys, there is more help in cadbury's post than there is in 100 other cnc posts in this forum combined. You just have to stop being a childish and take the CRITIQUE as it is given to you. (ie, agree mostly with cadbury's post, except I think there is blending, its just bad blending. do NOT feather the hell out of your stocks, place objects (brushing, ect) over the stock to blend)

She gives C/C, and is considered knowledgeable in her area. It might not be mushy, but I'm sure if she couldn't give you C/C [Meaning it was beyond her] she wouldn't be giving it for fun

True, i don't think alot of people here are half as good at C\C as cad... I respect her because s(he) gives it on almost every piece of work done in this style and it normally has some valid points... I would just try and encourage them at the same time as you are crituqing... We all want them to improove and not get discouraged... :D

Sorry to spam this post up again :oops: I'll keep any comments I have to myself or Pm them after :ohnoes:

I dont want to lure anyone into a false sense of achievement. I'm getting to the point so they don't need to file through my post and ask multiple questions or whether they missed something.

If people request critique, that's what they get. I'm not here to make people feel better about themselves, that's easy. I'm here to help people get better. Most topics will get atleast one graphics newbie who will pop in and just say "WHOA AMAZING 1000000/10 MAKE ME ONE PLZPLZPLZ", that doesn't help anyone.

Anyone can give positive comments, it's seeing what needs to be improved is harder.

I have just finished what I hope will be the last version of the sig. I know it's not perfect (if I thought so, I'll not be posting it here) but I'm quite pleased with the result.

Now to the C/c plot... well, for me Cad's c/c sounded a bit rude at first sight, but I think she was right. Since I posted my sig to see what I could improve, I'm not going to complain about it. I'm spaniard, and I'm on some spanish designs forums. The reason why I keep posting there, althrough it's sometimes hard to me to understand some words, is the fact that here I can post here and get a complete criticism on my sig, while on other forums I'll get a "incredible, keep doing it, well done!!" That's not what I'm searching.

However, I agree with some of you that sometimes, harsh c/c can get people discouraged as no one likes reading his own mistakens, and if you don't try to encourage them a little, some people could just give up thinking there's no way to make their work better.

Thanks to anyone (and sorry for the grammar/spelling)

V3 = V2 + Contrast?

Personally;

Move the render down (if possible) so the full head is showing, quite distracting having it randomly cut off.

Put the text together. It makes the signature look quite tall and loses a bit of flow. Just put the "Dual" just above the subtext - uses up the blackness then.

Still needs a bit more focus. Use a transparent to black gradient or similiar.

V3 = V2 + Contrast?

Not really. I changed the background color and yes, added a bit more contrast.

Couldn't move the render down because his head is too big, if I do it, the render gots cut over his hand and does not look good.
