High level skill items! Special Tinderboxes, hatchets, ect

Recommended Posts

Look at an ordinary tinderbox. Not very special right? Want something a bit more shiny or special to level up your skills with? Then you've come to the right place.

On this thread you can make up new skill items you'd like to see in the game, and see the "Professional" one's me and others have made up.

Table of contents:

-New Hatchets

-New Harpoons

NEW TINDERBOXES

Want to show off your 90 firemakeing?

A new building opens up in the lumby swamp, much like the little shack in Lost City. Some tinderboxes are members only. You can get a tinderbox for free apon a level accomplishment, but after that you pay, sort of like the chest in RFD.

Standard Tinderbox: One GP - F2P Level 1 Required

Brass Tinderbox: 10 GP - F2P Level 30 Required

Silver Tinderbox: 30 GP - F2P Level 50 Required

Gold Tinderbox: 100 GP - P2P Level 70 Required

Diamond Studded Tinderbox: 1000 GP - P2P Level 90 Required

The better the Tinderbox, the better firemakeing results you'll get. However, this improvement will be quite small, but there nevertheless, in case you need a more logistic reason to get your hands on one.

NEW HATCHETS

Want to show off level 99 woodcutting?

This would be best sold at a woodcutting guild, but there is no such thing as of now, so the service will be done by an NPC in members territory.

The Hatchets are gilded! Yes, gold lines cover your hatchet. Better looking, and better showing off!

Gilded Mith Axe: 10k GP, level 51 Woodcutting Required

Gilded Addy Axe: 50K GP, level 61 Woodcutting Required

Gilded Rune Axe: 200K GP, level 81 Woodcutting Required

Gilded Dragonmetal Axe: 1Mill GP, level 98 Woodcutting Required

These axes cut no better then what they usually do, as they are made from the same metal. They just look cooler.

NEW HARPOON

I couldn't really think up much here, but I did have a good level 99 accomplishment: The Elephant Tusk Harpoon. A long tusk with iron [bleep]es coming off it. Slightly better then the standard harpoon.

Elephant Tusk Harpoon: Rare Drop from the Sea Monster, a new NPC. Level 403, it's a large sea-monster creature. Yet to be released.

Aren't normal dragon hatchets like 3mil?

good point, the gilded would have to be worth more :P

I generally think this is an alright idea.

Interesting, but couldn't this just be a new treasure trails item?
Last thing we need but i love the tinderbox ideas but whats their use?

People could see you use it. It might also give an animation with each fire...use your imagination.

It's special BECAUSE it's gilded. Thats not hard to see.

you don't need lvl 61 def. to wear addy (g) or (t)

The main idea of this is to show off your high level woodcutting, along with having a good woodcutting tool. Treasure trail items don't have different skill requirements, because they show off two things:

Wealth, and Luck, both of which have nothing to do with skill.

Don't be hatin' on the hatchets bro =; :shame:

lol :D

Well we already got sometime to show off woodcutting with hatchets, the range of them goes from bronze to dragon. So, hatchets aren't nessicary.

u might wanna increase gold, silver and diamond indy's price by atleast 55k mroe!!!

Compare the prices of silver ore to gold ore to diamond.

and ys suggesion, diamond tindy will be like shining all over!!! so nothing could be seen except diamond's shine.

plus, You should make this tresure trail and both f2p and p2p.

So u get support plus no fight happnes.

There already is a gold tinderbox...I' not sure if it can light fires, though.

And where, exactly, can that be found? Enlighten me.

I can do that.

When doing (yes doing, and not done) the quest "Preist in Peril," when you have to trade the bronze (i think) key for the gold, if you bring a:

hammer, tinderbox, feather, or a chisel (I think those are the only ones), you can trade those items for a golden version of the item that you traded/put in it's place.

:D
