January 21, 200719 yr Looks like a good start to me. One thing is that the teeth or is that a tounge(SP)? make the mouth look weird, maybe don't show the teeth or whatever. It should be thinner like the mouth in your first picture

January 21, 200719 yr Author =) Thanks!! but... I didn't use the smudge tool (used the eyedropper like crazy) I don't know why it looks smudged? Is it the brush? Dunno. The opacity n flow levels are lower than 75% Update [sig inserted here....in few days]

January 21, 200719 yr Any tips for a digital paint newbie? Lol you may be inexpeirenced, but your no nub lol, thats amazing :o What's she doing? It's a weird pose, would be easier to crit if we knew what she was doing. The hair and the fur look great, as pointed out, the teeth look as if they are coming out of her mouth, kinda disturbing lol. The eyes are too large and i think they should be closer together. Looking forward to updates : EDIT: woah lol, i had your post open, went to dinner and then came back and made a reply, so i didn't see the update lol... The detail on the gloves is great, good to see the glow that is emanating from the magic, makes it more realistic. I don't like the actual magic though, it should be more dense, a magic sort of ball inside the flames/what ever they are would look good, and you havn't actually got any of the colour from the reflection in the magic, that doesn't make sense. January 21, 200719 yr wow great for a first time at digi painting ur prev work was awesome I really like the hair nice work on the hue shifts on highlighting but around the shading, u have just darkened it, i mean if u have added hue changes while highlighting, there shud be some for shading as well a lil will do
