Kaphias
Yes, but 70 Fletching is quite easy, and think about alching bows in the thousands... loads of profit. 8,325th to 99 Firemaking 3/9/08 | 44,811th to 99 Cooking 7/16/084,968th to 99 Farming 10/9/09 | Runescaper August 2005-March 2010Tip.it Mod Feb. 2008-Sep. 2008 | Tip.it Crew Sep. 2008-Nov. 2009
Screechingmu
People tend to craft their own ess when alching yew longs, which helps increase the profit. My Guide to Killing Green Dragon Autoers
Orangefreak
Since when are nats 200ea? I sure I wish I would get nats at that price. ^^Credit to rooneyrules0 for this awesome sig
CharlieBrown
Nats are 300 each. And no one said there good if you "alch" them. There good if you sell them to other players. And why do other players buy them? There easy to get in bulk, some ppl craft there own nats, some buy them. SwreeTak
Natures are 300-350 each, so I wouldn't recommend that tactic... Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

timmay929
Buy yew logs, not unstrung yew longs. It will be easier. Also, craft your own nats, then it will be more of a profit. 190(bowstring) + 300(yew logs) + 100(pure ess) = 590 786 - 590 = 196gp profit. You'll also be getting double the fletch xp and runecrafting xp. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
sigjicu0
here is math for alching yew longs: yew long alch price= 768gp yew long + nat= total cost 500/600gp+ 300gp=800-900gp 768-900= -132gp...you loose 132gp per alch! or if you yew log+bs+nat=total cost 250-300gp+180gp+300gp=730-780gp 768-730/780= -12gp or up to 38gp profit other way is...MAGIC LONGS ! :) : magic long + nat = total cost 1250gp + 300gp = 1550gp alch price= 1536gp 1536-1550= -14gp..you loose 14 gp or you could do magic log+bs+nat=total cost 1000gp+180gp+300gp= 1480gp 1536-1480= 56gp profit per alch!!!! ------- so either way you do it...magic longs are far better IMHO
